The oldest course in Destin is the Indian Bayou, offering twenty seven holes and located in the heart of Destin. Golf lessons are available, as are practice facilities once you've got the “swing” of things.

Kelly Plantation, or “Kelly” is a stunningly green golf course, set among old forested areas. In fact, this course is so lovely, it has earned the name “crown of the Emerald Coast.” Kelly features options for both novice players as well as highly experienced players, with an upscale clubhouse to boot. The clubhouse is a favorite spot for corporate gatherings, events, and weddings. 

Regatta Bay rounds out the golf course selection at Ocean Reef Resorts, and is one of Destin's finest selections. Located next to the Chocatawhatchee Bay, the final hole is the most challenging, where players must decide if they will lay up or attempt the over-the-water par five. Either way, this gorgeous course is well worth the play time!

If these choices weren't enough, Ocean Reef Resorts offers complimentary golf to all of our guests. In Destin, the Bluewater Bay Golf Club, located across the Mid Bay Bridge, is the course provided. Those staying in The Beaches of South Walton and Panama City Beach receive free golf at the Hombre Golf Club. This challenging golf course is incredibly scenic, featuring perfectly manicured greens in between palm trees, pine trees and azaleas. Water hazards abound at nearly every hole on this course. So if you're looking to use every golf club you've got, this is the course for you!

The possibilities don't stop there – you could literally plan a Golf trip to Destin! Golf Digest consistently gives top ratings to the four courses featured in Sandestin. The Links is the first course, with plenty of water features and stunning views of Baytowne Marina. The Baytowne Course is conveniently located in the middle of Sandestin, and the Raven Course, designed by the esteemed Robert Rent Jones is very close to the Burnt Pines Course, designed by Rees Jones.

Lastly, Ocean Reef provides a twenty percent discount at two additional golf courses off Emerald Coast Parkway, including Seascape in Miaramar Beach and the Emerald Bay Golf Club in Destin. These courses are 71 par and 72 par respectively, and Emerald Bay Golf Club also features an upscale clubhouse open to the public, featuring refreshing beverages and snacks.
