Windancer Condos on the Beach

The wonderful world of Windancer is located just a hair east of Destin in the heart of beautiful Miramar Beach along the Emerald Coast. Both the wind and sun dance across the jewel toned, sparkling clear waters of the Gulf at this beachfront paradise. The four story condominium complex provides its guests with a sense of exclusive, private privilege compared to the density of nearby high-rise buildings, but shares the same awesome location. Every unit at Windancer has full, stunning views of the Gulf due to the low-rise, beachfront locale which rises over the gentle dunes that border the beach. A large, kidney shaped pool just off the beach overlooks the gorgeous emerald green waters with views all the way to the horizon. It's the perfect place to enjoy the sun, take a dip in the pool or swim in the ocean. An adjacent grassy area leads to a small patio which has a convenient place for grilling.  Here you can create your own “Surf n Turf” meal while invigorating your appetite with the sun splattered waters and the fresh, salt scented breezes. Each of Ocean Reef's one bedroom, one and one half bath properties can sleep up to six people since the hallway includes tucked-in, twin bunk beds as well as a queen sized sofa bed in the living area. Our larger two bedroom, two bath beach property here can accommodate up to eight guests, each with their own bed.

A quick review of your choices here are as follows:

Windancer 205 has cream tiled floors throughout with a large wrap around couch decorated in lively palm and floral prints which provides full beach views towards the southeast. The sleek kitchen has an open breakfast bar with extra seating. The comfortable bedroom is adjacent to the bathroom that has additional access to the hallway. As with all the units offered here, there is a large beachfront balcony that overlooks the pool. During the Summers, if you time it right, you can even enjoy seeing a full moon rise right out over the Gulf. The shimmering moonlight on the crystal white sand and silver splashed waters at night offers a romantic, magical sight you will never forget!

Windancer 208 has an intimate feel with tan and light blue striped sofas, a wood butcher block type table for three and additional seats at the breakfast bar. The cheery kitchen has a nautical look done in blue and whites with blonde colored cabinets. The cozy bedroom is done in pastels with peridot green colored walls with tanned, tiled floors that cover the entire condo.

On the third floor, Windancer 302 has an ideal location providing sunny, southerly views over the Gulf and swimming pool below. This is the perfect spot to see all the action and enjoy those magical, moonlit nights from its private balcony. Light blue carpeting goes throughout with comfy chocolate brown sofas, dining table and breakfast bar.  Windancer 302 is also one of the few condos in the building that offers FREE high speed internet.

Windancer 310 has warm, beige carpeting throughout the condo. The furnishings are all done in creams and whites with natural wood brown accents. There is a dining table for three with three more seats nearby in the open kitchen bar. The main bedroom is comfortable and nicely decorated. 

Windancer 311 has dark cream colored tile floors through most of the condo with rich, honey toned wooden floors in the bedroom. The parchment colored walls provides a warm atmosphere that is elegantly appointed. The dining area has a glass topped table with four high backed, woven chairs with additional seats at the breakfast counter. The large cream colored couch is amassed with comfortable pillows with a big blue and tan armchair nearby.

On the top floor you will find Windancer 406, a two bedroom, two bath condo that will make you feel like you’re in your own little castle on the sand. The living area has soaring cathedral ceilings with an open staircase that leads to an elegant queen loft bedroom with private bath. Nearby is a cool “attic” room with two ebony colored wood beds for the kids. Downstairs, the master bedroom suite has a large bathroom that also doubles as a powder room with access off the hall. There is a big, glass topped dining table for six along with three adjacent high backed bar seats that are decorated in wrought iron. The wrap around leather couch provides views of the Gulf while you're watching TV. As you can see, there is something for everyone here with a wide variety of decorative choice. All one bedroom condos have the exact same layout, although some are reverse mirror images of each other. Rates are the same so you just have to choose the one that appeals to you the most. Rates are lowest in the Winter from November 1st thru March 1st. They are only $1,250 per month, $649 per week or $108 per night for stays less than a week! Another bargain rate is available from August 13th thru October 28th which are rented out on a daily or weekly rate which are only $803 for the week and $134 per night for less than a week. This is a great time of the year to come down since most of the Summer tourists are gone and the Gulf water temps are still wonderfully warm. Between February 26th thru March 11th, April 23rd thru May 27th as well as July 30th thru August 12th rates are $1,005 weekly or $168 per night for less than a week. Spring break, March 12th thru April 22nd, the rates are a little higher due to increased demand. The weekly rate is $1,125 and the nightly rate is $188. During the prime season of Summer which occurs from May 28th, (Memorial Day), thru July 29th, demand is at its highest with weekly rates at $1,499.

The two bedroom property is available for the entire months of November, December, January and February for $1,350 per month! Weekly rates during these same months are $849 per week. Spring and Summer weekly rates run from $1,019 to $1,776 depending upon the monthly demand as illustrated above. Nightly rates during the year for accommodations that are less than a week range from $142 per night in the Winter to $296 per night Memorial Day thru July although peak times may require a weeklong stay.

Whatever time of year you choose to visit, Ocean Reef is confident that you will enjoy your stay at Windancer. Besides the wonderful property itself, you will find yourself located less than five minutes away from restaurants, shopping and fun! The largest designer outlet in America, Silver Sands, has over 100 renowned designers to choose from and is within walking distance of Windancer. (But take your car because you will be carrying lots of bags full of treasure with huge savings!) Grand Boulevard at Sandestin is right down the road towards the east and includes upscale boutiques, art galleries as well as  a number of fine restaurants including Mitchell's Fish Market, Tommy Bahama's, Cantina Laredos's , Fleming's Steakhouse and P. F. Chang's. The Village of Baytowne Wharf  is open at Sandestin and all you have to do is tell the guard at this gated community that you are going to “The Village” in order to enjoy this special, Disney like enclave.  Charming restaurants, shops and lively bars abound! Here you may go on a memorable dinner cruise on Choctawhatchee Bay aboard The Solaris with a complimentary “buy one, get one free” dinner on us. From Windancer, you can stroll down the beach to go eat at Rick's Crab House or have a munch and enjoy a cold beer at The Whales Tail. If you play golf, enjoy a complimentary round as our special Ocean Reef guest at the Bluewater Bay.
