• Broker and President Tim Taylor along with his wife Becky started Ocean Reef in 1982 after previous careers in the hotel business in Hawaii. Tim was working in the hotel industry when he met Becky in Waikiki. They moved to the island of Maui where they were married and continued to work in the hotel business. They lived aboard a boat and enjoyed diving and fishing the Hawaiian waters from Oahu to the big island of Hawaii. Leaving Maui for Destin was easy. Beautiful water, great fishing, and a job offer from Sandestin Resort. Tim worked for the resort for seven wonderful years until the opportunity arose for the Taylors to start their own vacation rental and property management company. The rest is history. Today the company offers 400-plus accommodations ranging from one-bedroom condos to 10-bedroom homes fit for kings, weddings, and family reunions. Properties are carefully selected to ensure high quality, guest satisfaction, and the large, diverse staff (30 full time, 230 in peak season) is capable of speaking to all areas of the business.

• Owners must be able to stay up to date with all financial dealings associated to their investment property. We are committed to helping and providing our owners with real-time booking statistics and easy to read statements. We developed a custom online program allowing owners to access property statistics, live availability, owner documents, important notices, and reservation reports. With our homeowner services software, property owners can also book their home 24-hours a day via our website.

• We understand that we are the eyes and ears for your property and it is important that your investment in treated like our own. That is why we have developed a comprehensive maintenance program to maintain the integrity of your property. Ocean Reef also maintains a strong working relationship with many of the area's top contractors to ensure quick and thorough maintenance and repair. We also know how important first impression can be, for that reason we also provide complimentary trash removal on check out days when needed. Ocean Reef has set the standard for housekeeping service along the Gulf Coast. With our on-site commercial laundry facilities we are able to care for and stock your property as needed. All our housekeepers are certified and participate in our extensive continuing education program. Both toiletries and linens are provided at no cost to the owner. We understand that maintaining a clean rental property is not only a priority for our owner, but a necessity for our guests.
