This cute cozy three-bedroom vacation rental is located at a new community called the Cottages of Camp Creek in Seacrest Beach. This charming residential community is centered upon a lovely lagoon shaped 7,500 square foot sparkling swimming pool where you may enjoy taking a refreshing dip and it also includes a bubbling hot tub for soothing relaxation. The expansive patio has plenty of space for lounging and the furnished front porch is literally steps away from the pool. Although this residential community has been recently completed it incorporates an Old Florida casual architectural design that evokes golden laid back years of Americana nostalgia.
Upon first arrival to Petite Maison you may be surprised to see a two car tiled parking beneath an arbor at the back of the house because all of these cottages were deliberately designed to face the pool. The interiors are clean, light and bright with multiple sunny windows throughout the open living area. Honey toned hardwood flooring and comfortable furnishings provide a warm ambiance of casual living. A light blue couch that doubles as a queen size sleeper sofa and two cream colored armchairs face a flat screen TV for entertainment. Three raised wooden stools sit beside the ample kitchen that features stainless steel appliances. A dining table is tropically inspired with four high backed woven straw side chairs and two white antiqued head chairs.
The comfortable Master Bedroom includes a king size bed and a private full bath en suite. Another full hall bath serves the two Guest Bedrooms, one of which has a nice queen size bed and the other is a perfect bunkroom for kids. All three bedrooms have a flat screen TV.
Although you may spend a lot of time by the pool, the beautiful beach is just minutes away. Petite Maison boasts easy access within in walking distance and it’s in close proximity to one of the most wonderful and accessible beaches at a serene remote state park called Deer Lake, which encompasses over 2,000 preserved acres. An elevated walkway leads across a lovely landscape of Oak trees, Magnolias, Cypress and other natural tropical plantings that crosses over cola colored creeks towards the ancient sugary dunes that border the gorgeous gulf. Abundant wild life includes deer that like to graze near the precious exotic coastal dune lake as well as waterfowl and colorful migratory butterflies that get nectar from vast arrays of wildflowers. Once you reach the beach, you will feel like you have found your very own special piece of paradise since this place is a well-kept secret treasure. Camp Creek Park has another coastal dune lake where you may hike and fish and was named for the Creek Indians who once inhabited these shores. This preserve is a little less accessible but has hiking trails for those who want to take an inland adventure. This awesome location is also minutes away from a fine assortment of specialty shops, galleries restaurants, friendly bars, wine bistros and fun seasonal festivals in nearby Rosemary Beach. Other picturesque coastal villages along Scenic 30A throughout South Walton are also a fairly short distance away.
