Generations of our esteemed Ocean Reef Resorts guests have been visiting the sugary shoreline here for up to forty years, and many have discovered their favorite “beach” home away from home. A delightful beach vacation creates cherished memories of happy times with families and close friends. However, you may have the best of both worlds if you stay at a residence with its own private swimming pool since they provide refreshing delight during the summer months.

Read more ...Quite a few folks also enjoy coming down to visit during the “Sweater Season” because the sun sets in spectacular fashion right into the waters of the gulf. It is a quieter time of the year, too, with minimal traffic, no wait times at restaurants, and plenty of serene settings on the beautiful beach. We have quite a few 30A vacation homes with private pools to offer; however, they are often heated during the cooler times of the year, which can add an expense of $35 to $100 per day. However, you’ll be happy to know that the following two 30A rental homes provide heated swimming pools for their fortunate frugal guests at no extra cost. Here is a brief look at each one.
Backyard Bliss

Backyard Bliss in Grayton Beach has three bedrooms and comfortably sleeps six carefree beachgoers. You are immediately embraced by this home’s charming appeal as soon as you arrive since it has a nostalgic golden American-styled design with a columned veranda out front. Rocking chairs on the porch invite you to relax and “sit a spell”; however, the real fun is out back around the oversized heated private swimming pool. A tall white privacy fence creates the courtyard effect around a spacious sun patio that is centered on the pool. Flower beds on three sides are adorned with towering palm trees and interspersed with small clusters of palmettos. Rows of lounge chairs face the sun on two sides while four sets of umbrellas are provided to move around if needed for shade. There is also a gas grill near a standup bar available for favorite drinks and outdoor cookouts. A long rectangular table next to an outdoor heat lamp includes ten seats so your group may comfortably enjoy some festive poolside meals.
The pool was amazing, especially the hot tub portion! The fenced in backyard helped make it feel like we were by ourselves even though there were other homes and businesses around.

The bright, spacious interiors feature rows of sunny windows, a vaulted ceiling, and white shiplap walls richly accented by dark chocolate-colored hardwood luxury vinyl flooring throughout. Comfortable furnishings have an elegant coastal style with a white couch and two regal pale gray cushioned accent chairs situated around a decorative throw rug. A flat screen TV mounted above a white-washed cabinet provides entertainment. A rectangular cream-colored dining table, four crisscross-backed side chairs, and two white draped high-backed end chairs sit beneath a unique lighting fixture with glass orbs that resemble bubbles. The open kitchen has a rich brown mottled granite-topped counter bar, white custom cabinetry, and brushed stainless steel appliances to fulfill all culinary needs.
The handsome primary bedroom bath has chic, stylish upscale furnishings with a king-sized bed and includes a full ensuite with a walk-in shower. One guest bedroom has a queen size bed with a regal patterned cloth headboard, while the other accommodates two kids with a comfortable daybed and a twin trundle. These bedrooms share a full hall bath with a tub shower combination that doubles as a convenient powder room.
This great location is minutes away from the captivating historic village center of Grayton Beach on the crystalline white shoreline beside the jeweled waters of the gulf. It also features a unique shopping and dining experience. The Zoo Gallery offers vibrant creations by artists from around the nation with a wide array of decorative art. The Tribe Kelley Surf Post right next door offers a wide array of chic, fashionable coastal clothing along with handpicked shore-styled accouterments. The famous Red Bar directly across the street provides great food, wonderful drinks, and live music on a regular basis. Chiringo’s down the street offers tapas, cold beers, and tropical drinks. Enchanting coastal villages along Scenic 30A are also minutes away, with lots of restaurants, friendly beach bars, specialty shops, boutiques, outdoor musical concerts, and fun festivals.
Seven Palms
4 Bedrooms / 3 Bathrooms / 15 Guests
Seven Palms is a modern four-bedroom home hidden off 30A in Dune Allen Beach that can comfortably sleep up to fifteen fortunate guests with multiple beds. Its outstanding location is near the sugary white beach and Stallworth Lake, a coastal dune lake natural treasure. This rental home’s private swimming pool measures 30’ x 12’ and features a bonus hot tub on one corner that cascades down into the water beside it. The pool’s sun patio has lush landscaping with way more than “seven palms” that provide a gorgeous tropical setting. A veranda overlooks this lovely setting, with furnishings provided to enjoy drinks poolside. A spacious open family room indoors includes a full-sized refrigerator freezer and wet bar making outdoor entertainment a breeze. It also features a wraparound couch, a game table, two of the guest quarters, and a full hall bath with a tub shower combination. An upper-level wraparound balcony off the open living area includes comfortable seating areas and a dining table for eight, which overlooks the pool below.
The pool and hot tub got lots of use, and the deck was perfect for outdoor meals and drinks.

Three walls of the living area provide lavish views of the outdoor tropical scenery. It features comfortable furnishings with chic contemporary coastal styling with some fashionable Vintage Modern flair. A white wraparound couch beneath a large colorful abstract painting and two vintage modern chrome chairs with handsome black ebony leather seating face a giant flat screen TV mounted above a floating hardwood credenza for entertainment. The large open state-of-the-art kitchen features brushed stainless steel appliances, ebony-colored contemporary cabinetry, white marble countertops, and a big island with raised seating. Another island-like table has additional seating for wining and dining. One entire wall features a glass front wine cooler with a wet bar that provides a gracious setting for entertainment.
The primary suite features a king-size bed with a unique, stylish black leather paneled headboard facing a flat screen TV for nighttime viewing pleasure and a separate adjoining glass-walled sun room with comfortable seating. The ensuite luxury bath features double vanity sinks, a soaking tub, and a glass-walled walk-in shower. The two guest bedrooms on this floor both include comfortable contemporary furnishings and share a full hall bath with double vanities and a tub shower combination.
This home’s Dune Allen Beach location is only minutes away from popular restaurants, friendly bars with live music, grocery stores, liquor wine shops, and shopping adventures. The acclaimed Santa Rosa Beach village center of Gulf Place is less than five minutes away. It includes restaurants with casual bars, a liquor wine store, a coffee shop, fashion boutiques, specialty shops, and galleries. A grassy amphitheater studded with palms in its center provides a perfect place to enjoy live outdoor musical concerts, a variety of art shows, and fun festivals that are held throughout the year. Popular restaurants like The View on 30A and Stinky’s Fish Camp are also close by. The View on 30A serves Caribbean-styled seafood with gulf coast flair and has gorgeous views of the gulf from its dune top location. Despite its strange, whimsical name, the rustic lakefront restaurant of Stinky’s Fish Camp serves fantastic fresh-caught gulf fish, all types of oysters, and a wide array of craft beer and wine.
