Gulf Coast Axe House (Miramar Beach)

Located in Miramar Beach, Gulf Coast Axe House is a must-visit if you’re looking for unique and fun entertainment. Though reservations are not required, booking a time beforehand is a good idea as spots fill up fast. To reserve a lane, visit the Gulf Coast Axe House website. One- to two-hour blocks of time range from $30-$50/person. Waivers are required before participating and can be found on the website. When you show up for your scheduled time, one of their coaches will show you to your lane and teach you the basics of axe throwing. Close-toed shoes are required. As a BYOB venue, feel to bring your own beer, wine, or non-alcoholic drinks (hard liquor not permitted). You can also bring your own snacks and food, or even order in using a food delivery service. Children under 13 are not permitted for insurance reasons.

Gulf Coast Axe House (Destin)

In addition to the Miramar Beach location, there are a couple of Gulf Coast Axe House throwing lanes at HarborWalk Village in Destin. Waivers for this location may also be found on the website. In addition to amazing beach scenes in Santa Rosa Beach, you will also find a super fun axe-throwing venue. Located along Highway 98, 30A Axe Throwing is owned by a dynamic duo of two families—the Acosta and Hicks families. This family-friendly venue is meant to combine “Ohana, Axes, and Good Times.” Reservations are encouraged, especially for groups of four or more. Walk-ins without reservations will be served on a first-come, first-serve basis. Waivers are required, and anyone under 18 years old will require a parent or guardian to sign the waiver. Closed-toed shoes are needed, and loose-fitting clothing is encouraged. The cost to throw is $30/per person per hour. 30A Axe Throwing offers local beers on tap, domestic beers, and wines. If you’d like snacks or a meal, bring in some take-out and enjoy it while you’re throwing. Tables are provided at each lane for convenient chatting, eating, and drinking while your crew takes turns throwing.
