Hey Mama Wines is a female-owned wine company with a focus on creating a community around wine, while supporting moms and all communities of women. The wine industry can be intimidating and overwhelming—especially because the bigger players (predominately owned by men) don’t speak to women in a relatable way. There are also very few convenient wine options for on-the-go moms and women. And let’s be real, women are often on the go.
As a wine lover herself, founder and CEO Lauren Stokes recognized this as a problem. She wanted to approach wine in a way that is relatable, fun, and community-oriented. It was also important to Stokes to give back to women and mothers everywhere. The mother of three and Forbes 30 under 30 entrepreneur got to work to turn her idea into reality, launching Hey Mama Wines in late 2019. Not only does Hey Mama Wines offer delicious wine sourced from the highest quality grapes, but the company also donates 10% of all proceeds to charities and organizations that support women and children. With such a great vision, it’s no surprise Hey Mama Wines has seen impressive growth over the years.
Hey Mama Wines makes premium, low-carb canned and bottled wine. The Rosé Bubbly comes in an 8.4 oz can—great for mamas and women on the move. With a delicate finish and flavors of watermelon and strawberry, the bubbly rosé is made from a blend of Syrah, Cab Sav, and Pinot Gris.
