Ocean Reef Resorts is proud to represent a number of fine vacation rentals at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort which is a five star tropical paradise in Miramar Beach, Florida that sits beside the famed emerald green waters of this special part of the world. Some of our most popular offerings are located in the high-rise luxury beachfront towers of Westwinds and Beachside Towers which soar above the sugar white beaches and emerald green waters of the Gulf of Mexico. You catch your first glimpse of these towers as you enter the gated gulf entrance of this top rated resort and the beauty of the setting almost makes you gasp. The drive meanders beside a lushly landscaped golf course with a row of towering palms that are majestically up-lighted at night. These opulent towers stand in the distance, right on the beach with the shimmering jewel toned waters behind them. The alabaster colored twin buildings of Beachside I and II sit side beside one another with step like levels that soar up to twenty stories tall. Westwinds, their tanned companion, looks like a curved box sandcastle of sorts and has western exposures which offer guests dazzling sunset views. Both have big pools overlooking the beach that are heated when need be. The pools at Beachside I and II are next to boardwalks that lead you to the shimmering whiter than white sands that are abundant here. A green topped gazebo type structure nearby houses the gourmet restaurant called Finz. At Sandestin’s Westwinds, the large lagoon type pool is surrounded by a lush forest of palm trees and a man-made creek that flows down from a recreated waterfall. There is also a bubbling hot tub for adult pleasure as well as a kiddie pool for children. All three towers have a Fitness Center and special Beach Services are now available to Ocean Reef Resort guests. The views of the gulf are awesome with ever changing hues which range from the color of an old glass Coke bottle to emerald green in color. This part of Sandestin is just west of Topsail State Beach Preserve with its protected twenty foot tall dunes that extend for miles along the shore towards the east. It is the perfect place to hike, jog or take a romantic walk enjoying the beauty of nature's solace in relative seclusion. Many days you can see dolphins frolicking in the clear, clean waters beyond.
Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort is a world of its own since this exclusive gated community is sandwiched between the gulf on the south side and the beautiful Choctawhatchee Bay to the north. There are four world class golf courses, hard clay tennis courts and the delightful Village of Baytowne Wharf complete with bars, restaurants, retail shops and a large marina which harbors yachts. Fireworks, free live musical entertainment, seasonal festivals, art shows and events for children occur on a regular basis. When you visit Baytowne don't forget to visit the SS Solaris which is docked at the Marina. This triple decked ship has regularly scheduled dinner cruises with musical entertainment and goes out on the bay around sunset. As our Ocean Reef guest you will receive one free dinner cruise with the purchase of one regular ticket. Sandestin's main town center, Grand Boulevard, is adjacent to Emerald Coast Parkway and has its own set of restaurants and upscale boutiques. It has a Palm Beach feel with dancing interactive fountains and a million dollars worth of landscaping completed in a pedestrian friendly setting.
