THE HARBOR & HARBORWALK VILLAGE
The Destin Harbor is the heart of downtown Destin, and has been for many years. Here you’ll find restaurants, activities and entertainment for everyone in the family. Endless things to do including waterfront shopping, stand-up paddle board rentals, pontoon boats, glass bottom cruises as well as world renowned fishing, pirate ship adventures, fireworks every week, dolphins, live music concerts, parades, live shows, plenty of places to dine on fresh seafood, tasty treats and much more!
This expansive open-air shopping center features some of the best shopping and casual dining in all of Destin. In addition to small unique stores bigger names include Express, AMC Theaters, Bass Pro Shop, H&M, Belk, World of Beer, Charming Charlie and Uncle Buck’s Fish Bowl Bowling. There are over 90 stores and restaurants to enjoy!
Silver Sands Premium Outlets is a very walk-able shopping space, visitors can pop in and out of a wide selection of stores. Home to 110 name-brand designer outlets that include Kate Spade New York, Michael Kors, Coach, Polo Ralph Lauren and Saks Fifth Avenue Off 5th. Covered walkways mean you can shop rain or shine, plus there is a fun playground for the kids. You’ll find a wide variety of items from sporting goods, fine home goods, apparel and gifts galore here at Silver Sands.
Grand Boulevard is perfectly perched between Scenic Highway 98 in Miramar Beach and South Walton’s Scenic Highway 30A. Comprised of casual and fine dining blended with fine retail shopping and a theater that brings new meaning to the phrase dinner and a movie. Emril’s Coastal Italian, the Orvis Company, L’Occitane, Brooks Brothers, Vineyard Vines and P.F. Chang’s China Bistro are just a few of the brands you’ll find here. Grand Boulevard is the preeminent retail location and the Emerald Coasts unofficial town center, a space for cultural events and happenings like no other.
Gulf Place counts itself among one of 30A’s first New Urbanist developments, a movement that combines shopping, dining, working and living all in one community. This vibrant local is situated on the west stretch of 30A and bookends up to Dune Allen Beach. Palm-tree lined streets, wide sidewalks and plenty of nooks to stop and take a break from shopping can be found here. In the center of it all is a park and artist colony giving Gulf Place its heart and funky soul. Just about every night there is live music to enjoy. You’ll also find a blend of casual dining options, great local shopping, paddle board and bike rentals and boutiques around every corner.
Internationally known as one of the first birth places and incubators of New Urbanism, Seaside is the unofficial heart of South Walton and is located at the very center of 30A. Shopping here has become something of a pilgrimage. Fine food purveyors such as Great Southern Café and Bud & Alleys set the high tones for dining but equally delicious are the community of air stream trailers that gather along the Amphitheatre and Modica Market that has something unique every time you visit. One-of-a-kind boutiques abound all around town and the gallery district in Ruskin Place should not be missed. Basically with 200 acres of awesome squeezed into an 80 acre bag, parking here is for the brave and the brave alone.
Rosemary Beach has a little something for everyone. Located on the far east end of 30A, and with a Caribbean flair there are two clear spots to shop. From the city scape square on out to the main access to the beach you’ll find fresh seafood, fashion, toys, jewelry, gifts and gear everywhere. Unique and frankly very beachy, enjoy a croissant, a hot coffee or stop into the book store for a deep read, you’ll find something fantastic here in Rosemary Beach!
