This beautiful beachfront resort is located at the far western edge of Panama City Beach with an excellent position overlooking the jewel-toned waters of the Gulf of Mexico as well as the largest coastal dune lake in Florida. Seven luxury beach towers soar above the sugary shore on a point that is almost entirely surrounded by water. You have probably seen this coastal treasure in the distance if you've crossed over the long bridge on Highway 98 into Bay County from South Walton. Lake Powell is a rare natural phenomenon that supports abundant wildlife and such bodies of water are in very few places in the world, due to a magical water composition created by its fresh water connection to the open gulf. The connecting estuary passes right by Pinnacle Port into the gulf and flows in different directions depending upon the tides. A dock allows you to catch some fish or you may go kayaking or paddle boarding on the on the lake to enjoy the natural beauty.
The seven towers include beautifully furnished vacation rentals that have one, two and three bedrooms. They all have an open design plan for the living, dining and kitchen portions. Balconies that look out over the beach are directly accessible from the open living areas. Other amenities include a large lagoon shaped swimming pool outdoors with a nice patio for leisurely lounging and some barbeque grills for a cookout. An additional acclimatized pool is located indoors for year-round swimming. Four tennis courts are available as well as basketball. There is also a Fitness Center on site that overlooks the gulf that features a sauna. Kids will love their playground, and everyone will enjoy playing shuffleboard, horseshoes and Bocce ball.
This fantastic location is conveniently close to area grocery stores, wine outlets, and restaurants at Carillon Beach. Since it is right on the county line between Walton and Bay County you have delightful diversions available in each direction. Pier Park is minutes away towards the east featuring a pedestrian-friendly boulevard adorned with tropical plantings, an abundant array of specialty shops, restaurants and friendly beach bars with live bands. It is anchored by one of the longest piers located on the Gulf of Mexico and for a nominal charge you may fish there all day, take a stroll to enjoy the sparkling views or catch a spectacular sunset over the gulf. Pier Park features rollicking festivals throughout the year with food, drinks and live music - which are often accompanied by vibrant displays of festive fireworks.
Cross the bridge over Lake Powell towards the west and you enter the lovely idyllic world of South Walton's Scenic 30A. It connects to Highway 98 soon after you cross over into Walton County placing you a short drive away from all the picturesque coastal villages along Scenic 30A. The first is Rosemary Beach which has terrific restaurants, bistros, galleries, fashion boutiques, outdoor musical concerts and fun seasonal festivals.
