This charming Old Florida styled cottage in Seacrest Beach has three bedrooms and can sleep up to 10 happy beachgoers. The wonderful location is less than a handful of minutes away from the sugary shoreline and gleaming waters of the jewel-toned gulf. However, you don’t even have to go that far to take a refreshing dip since this home is only a stone’s throw away from the seasonally heated community pool right next door.

Star of the Sea is a cozy cottage that has a gracious setting along a residential street lined with Live Oaks and clusters of Palmetto Palms. An open deck out front with Adirondack chairs invites you to relish relaxation while two nice upper-level balconies look across the lovely scenery. Two separate sets of glass doors in the open living area lead out to these breezy balconies. This spacious room has a rustic beach look with vaulted natural wood ceilings above and honey-toned hardwood flooring below. Light Wedgewood blue accent walls and white trimmed windows provide a bright light look. A plush light brown wraparound couch and cream-colored accent chair at one end of this room face an armoire that houses a TV for entertainment. The dining area on the other side of the room has a wooden table with eight spindle rail backed chairs near the open kitchen. A sleek ebony black granite-topped bar has four stools beside it for easy entertainment to serve drinks or savory snacks. The kitchen features stainless steel appliances and cottage styled beadboard cabinetry for a charming effect.   

The Master Bedroom Suite includes a king sized bed, a glass door that leads out to the front deck along with a full private bath with double vanity sinks and a walk-in shower. One colorful Guest Bedroom with an additional king sized bed also has its own bathroom with a vanity and tub/shower. The other Guest Bedroom features two twin bunks and a giant wall mural image depicting surfboards as a fun beachy accent along with a full attached bath. An additional set of twin bunks are situated in the foyer with light blue nautical colors.

This great location in Seacrest Beach is a nature lover’s dream since it borders two coastal dune lakes that are unique precious phenomenons. Very few of these lakes exist anywhere else in the world, and they support a huge abundance of wildlife as tidal action creates a magical salted fresh water mixture. Camp Creek Lake Park named for the original Native Americans who lived there and Deer Lake State Park has thousands of acres that feature incredible natural beauty. A raised walkway next to Scenic 30A at Deer Lake leads over cola colored creeks across Cypress marshlands to windswept ancient dunes beside the beautiful beach. This location is also close to a wide assortment of restaurants, friendly bars, and boutiques at The Hub in Prominence as well as Rosemary Beach, which also features fun festivals.

Based on the daily temperature and at the HOA's discretion, the community pool is seasonally heated.
