This charming coastal styled one-bedroom vacation rental in Crystal Sands is the perfect place to enjoy a special romantic rendezvous for two. However, bunk beds and a queen sized sleeper sofa can accommodate the kids for a fun family vacation getaway at the beach. A balcony off the open living area overlooks the wide white ribbon of crystalline sand that shimmers in the sun and spans beside the jewel-toned Gulf. The ambiance here is decidedly laid back, which is somewhat surprising since it is near the heart of everything Destin offers. A swimming pool at the front of the building is heated for year-round use.

The gorgeous Gulf is the star of the show in Crystal Sands 208B, and it is beautifully showcased from the open living area with two sets of double panel sliding glass doors that lead out to the viewing balcony. Full-size, brand new outdoor furnishings beckon you to enjoy the vivid views first hand while listening to the sensational surf sounds. The living area includes white tile flooring throughout, which accentuates a bright, spacious look. A latte toned couch that doubles as a sleeper sofa sits beneath a colorful abstract painting of a seascape and is flanked by two accent chairs patterned with marine life images. A large flatscreen TV is mounted above a creamy white credenza for entertainment. An intimate cottage styled dining table for four sits beside a wall with a lovely painting of a beach scene showing a lady relishing the views. The well-stocked open kitchen has four white bar stools beside a mottled granite-topped bar providing additional space for drinks and dining.

Two bunks are tucked off the hallway near a half bath powder room. The Master Bedroom has a contemporary look and includes a king-sized bed, a flatscreen TV, and a sunny window. A full ensuite bath includes a marble-tiled walk-in shower.

This Destin location on Scenic Highway 98 is minutes away from popular Gulf-front restaurants with friendly beach bars that overlook the dazzling jewel-toned Gulf waters. It is also close to wine outlets as well as grocery stores that include Publix, Whole Foods, Fresh Market, and a Super Walmart. Upscale fashion boutiques, along with specialty stores, are located nearby at Destin Commons, Paradise Key Shopping, and the City Market. Destin Commons is very popular with a charming European look featuring turrets, a clock tower, fountains, family-friendly palm-lined avenues with outdoor music systems, a wide array of stores, restaurants, bars, and a state of the art AMC Multiplex Theater. Besides wonderful local eateries, many popular nationally known restaurants are also located in this area. The Destin marina is famously known for being home to the largest private charter fishing fleet in North America, and HarborWalk Village is only about twenty-five minutes away towards the west. It features dockside restaurants, casual bars, outdoor concerts, fun festivals year-round, and some fabulous seasonal firework displays. Miramar Beach, nearby towards the east, is famous for bargain shopping at the Silver Sands Premium Outlets, which is one of the largest Designer Discount Centers in the nation. The enchanting Village of Baytowne Wharf and posh Grand Boulevard in Sandestin are also located there with great restaurants, galleries, fashion boutiques, specialty shops, free live concerts, fun festivals, and amusements.

Crystal Sands is a smoke free environment with no smoking of any kind on the grounds, walkways, balconies, patios, parking lots, sidewalks, boardwalks, or the beach.

Personal umbrellas, tents, tarps, canopies, or cabanas are not permitted on the beach, except for baby tents, which must not exceed 48” in height. Two chairs and one umbrella are provided, and additional set-ups can be rented through the onsite beach service. Private chairs are allowed to be set up behind the rental row of umbrellas

Based on the daily temperature and at the HOA's discretion, the community pool is typically heated during Thanksgiving week and March through April.

Note: Through mid-January, the pools at Crystal Sands will undergo weekday resurfacing and upgrades. Only one pool will be closed at a time, ensuring continued pool access. Thank you for your understanding
