Day Dreamer

A "daydreamer" is defined as one who detaches from one's immediate surroundings, blurring reality and replacing it with a visionary fantasy, especially one that evokes happy pleasant thoughts. You may experience such a dream in this aptly named, modern vacation home in South Walton. 12 Happy guests may enjoy daydreaming together in this stylish abode that was constructed with lots of creature comforts in mind. It is conveniently located in the heart of Seagrove Beach, placing it only about 150 yards away from the beach access, which is right down the street. However, you don't even have to go that far to enjoy a refreshing dip as this rental home has a private pool that has the option to be heated in the cooler months.

You look out upon this pool as soon as you enter Day Dreamer from the spacious open living area that has a wall of floor to ceiling windows facing it with sliding glass doors. This space was made for stylish entertaining with an open kitchen that includes a bar with six stools. The furnishings and colorful décor throughout this home are focused on a fashionable Vintage Mid Century Modern genre. It is happily decorated with vibrant Pop Art and vivid abstract prints throughout. A contemporary blue couch with two accent chairs provide a seating ensemble on a navy blue accent rug facing a long rectangular gas fireplace with a TV for entertainment. The white dining ensemble nearby has eight sculpted plastic chairs for that classically modern look. The pool patio has a built-in gas grill for cookouts along with an open cabana that features wrap around seating, a Wet Bar, and a full bath. Two flutes of water pour into the pool while a decorative mini fire niche nearby can be lit for dramatic effect.

Each bedroom in this home has a lavishly attired king-sized bed, a large TV, and a luxurious en-suite bathroom.  Two of these stylish guest quarters are on the first floor while an open staircase leads to the Master Bedroom and another Guest Bedroom above. The Master Bedroom Suite has a stunning black and white luxury bath with wide rectangular vanities. A large unique glass-walled space includes a huge soaking tub and multiple shower heads. The Guest Bedroom has a seating area and sliding barn doors that open to a bunk room tucked away with a pair of twin bunks. A hallway Wet Bar comes in handy because this level has an open deck where you may relax over drinks while overlooking the pool. A spiral staircase leads up to a rooftop sundeck with a fire pit. (Think wine for you and S'mores for the kids!)  

If you ever want to leave this "daydream" in Seagrove Beach, there are popular restaurants, friendly beach bars, specialty boutiques, and a grocery store nearby. Iconic Seaside is also just minutes away, hosting delightful seasonal festivals and outdoor concerts.
