Perfect for extended family
We had the best time here. It was the perfect home for our family of 6 and another family of 3. Every room had its own bathroom which is so nice!

FAQs

We welcome all of your questions! Most property-specific details can be answered in the AMENITIES tab, for example, "Is beach service included?", "Is there a community pool?" and "How far is the beach?". Additional answers may be found in our Rental Policies.

Still have unanswered questions? We invite you to ask below. Our vacation specialists look forward to providing you with a detailed response to help you find the best place by the beach!

I have a question about parking. Is there additional parking somewhere?
Vickie R - Posted: 01/16/2022

Answer:

Gone Coastal does provide parking for 2 vehicles.  You can find options for overnight parking here.

Is this home walking distance to the beach?
Mindy M - Posted: 01/24/2022

Answer:

Yes! Gone Coastal is approximately a 6-7 minute walk to the Ed Walline Regional Beach Access at the end of S Co Hwy 393. Ed Walline is ADA accessible and includes parking, restrooms, two picnic pavilions, and a lifeguard on duty during peak times of the year.

Allow dogs?
Brandon C - Posted: 01/26/2022

Answer:

Gone Coastal is a great home, however dogs are not permitted.  If you are unable to board your dog, you may want to consider one of our pet friendly rentals here.

Is there a beach cart there to use?
Sarah A - Posted: 07/23/2022

Answer:

It is always possible that the owner has supplied a beach cart or previous guests have left one behind; however, due to the high volume of visitors, things can inevitably be broken, misplaced, or lost. Since we cannot guarantee these items will be present, it is always safest to pack your own or rent them when you arrive. See you soon!

Are there linens?
Sarah A - Posted: 07/28/2022

Answer:

We provide linens and sheets for the beds, bath towels, and washcloths. You will want to bring your own beach towels, as we do not provide them. Our properties are furnished with enough disposable goods to get you started; this includes trash bags, paper towels, toilet tissue, dishwashing detergent, and bar soap. Our kitchens feature the basic necessities, such as a k-cup coffee maker, toaster, blender, silverware, and dishes. You may also want to pack hair dryers, additional disposable goods, and specialty kitchen items such as spices, aluminum foil, sandwich bags, etc.

Here is a helpful video to ensure that you are fully equipped for the beach!

Is there a path to the beach? Could a family with small children walk there?
Brittany R - Posted: 02/19/2023

Answer:

The beach is easily obtainable with small children! A pedestrian-friendly sidewalk leads directly to the Ed Walline public beach access. Don't forget the sunscreen!
