This beautifully furnished vacation rental residence at the popular Pelican Beach Resort has two bedrooms and can sleep six fortunate guests. It can easily become a wonderful vacation dream home for your next jaunt down to the beach due to abundant amenities and an excellent Destin location. Besides being conveniently close to grocery stores, restaurants, and wine outlets, it is only a few minutes away from all the local action at Destin's Harborwalk Village. Ocean Reef Resorts guests enjoy complimentary reduced rates there for recreational water rentals, pontoon boats, pirate ship adventures, and dolphin sunset cruises. A wide array of waterfront restaurants, lively bars, specialty shops, family amusements, seasonal festivals with fireworks and free musical concerts abound here. However, you may never want to leave the lush tropical grounds of Pelican Resort itself after you arrive since there is so much fun to be had here.

Pelican Beach Resort sits beachfront, upon the sugary shores of the gorgeous gulf and has three sparkling swimming pools and a fourth one that is kid friendly. One long curvy pool faces the beach, another is on a raised sunny terrace overlooking a lovely lagoon, while the third is an indoor pool with a partition of glass providing light and views of a connecting outdoor pool. A classic gulf front Tiki Hut Bar offers tropical drinks and savory snacks for enjoyment poolside or on the beach. There is also an enchanting casual coastal café nearby for breakfast and lunch. A small store on site has beach picnic provisions including cold drinks, sandwiches, and treats. There are two bubbling hot tubs, one of which is in a self-contained beachside pergola near the Tiki Hut Bar. The resort also has tennis courts, a fitness center, outdoor gas grills, and an arcade.

As soon as you walk into this second-floor residence, you feel blessed by the fantastic location. It overlooks the long lagoon shaped pool studded with tropical palms and has the glittering gulf as a jeweled backdrop. A balcony off the open living area and Primary Bedroom Suite allows you to enjoy these views first-hand perhaps while sipping upon your favorite drinks. The living area at Pelican Beach Resort 214 has a cheerful countenance including a comfortable sky-blue-colored couch that doubles as a queen sleeper sofa and matching love seat. They face the sensational poolside gulf vistas and a cream colored credenza below a wall-hung TV. A charming round glass topped dining table with six elegant white decorative chairs sit beside a light, bright open kitchen with a bar that has additional seating.

The Primary Bedroom is off the open living area and features a full en suite bath and creamy white cottage styled furnishings. A comfortable king-sized bed sits next to sliding glass doors that lead out to the balcony and provides views of the pool and gulf. The colorful Guest Bedroom has a sunny window with a pleasant wicker framed queen size bed that sits beneath a lovely piece of art depicting a sea turtle. A full hall bath serves this room and acts as a convenient powder room.

This Condo only allows for 6 people to stay the night per HOA regulations.

Based on the daily temperature and at the HOA's discretion, the community pool is typically heated from mid-October through Spring Break.
