This spacious Destin vacation home allows you to easily get your "cheeks sandy" due to its short distance from the neighborhood shore access in fashionable Frangista Beach. It's also only steps away from taking a refreshing plunge in the 10'x15' private pool out back or the community swimming pool just down the street. A tropically landscaped community pool with restroom facilities is also nearby. It is seasonally heated and includes a unique elevated waterfall that spills down from above. Guests of Sandy Cheeks can also take advantage of complimentary bikes and seasonal beach service provided by this hospitable home. This is the perfect place for a big beach reunion with five bedrooms, accommodations for 16 fortunate guests, and two furry family members. That's right, this property is pet-friendly! Separate living quarters can comfortably host multiple families with two living areas, two full kitchens, bedrooms, and baths connected by an interior spiral staircase between each floor. A large exterior staircase with oversized porches also provides easy accessibility in and out of the home.

The first floor of Sandy Cheeks has an open concept living area with oversized cream-colored tile flooring and a country-styled corrugated metal ceiling. A gray couch and love seat faces a large flatscreen TV for entertainment. Two couches conveniently double as a queen-sized sleeper sofa for added bedding. The open kitchen has a round dining nook table with four cottage-style chairs. Chocolate-toned cabinetry, dark granite-topped counters, and brushed stainless steel appliances provide everything needed for culinary creations. The outdoor patio is centered upon a rectangular swimming pool with lounge chairs, tables with seating, and a gas grill for poolside dining. A bedroom with a queen-sized bed and handsome furnishings also has direct access to the pool patio. The other guest quarters have a twin over full bunk bed. Both bedrooms utilize a full hall bath with a stone-based walk-in shower. A half bath powder room off the living area is easily accessible from the pool patio.

The main living area upstairs has multiple windows for natural light, charming cream-painted hardwood flooring, and a partially vaulted ceiling to accentuate a spacious look. A cozy gray wraparound couch faces an extra-large flatscreen TV mounted above a chic white contemporary credenza. French doors lead out to a breezy furnished balcony that spans two sides of the house overlooking the palm-studded surroundings. The dining area off to one side of the living room includes a long gleaming white rectangular table with dark woven chairs on a vibrant palm-patterned rug. The adjacent kitchen features light country-style cabinetry, sleek black granite countertops, and stainless steel appliances. Part of the counter is perfect for serving tasty drinks and savory appetizers.

The master bedroom has traditional dark hardwood furnishings with a king-sized bed and access to an ensuite bath with a walk-in shower. Another guest bedroom with regal white furnishings includes a queen-sized bed, while a bright bunk room has a full and twin bed. These guest quarters share a full hall bath with a glass-walled walk-in shower and a large raised oval-shaped porcelain vanity sink.

This outstanding Frangista Beach locale is within walking distance from the popular beach-casual Whale's Tail restaurant towards the east and the colorful Pompano Joe's restaurant towards the west. Other popular Miramar Beach restaurants, grocery stores, and bargain shopping for designer goods at the famous Silver Sands Premium Outlets are minutes away. Championship golf, professional tennis, and beach recreational sports are close by at the Seascape Resort. Ocean Reef guests receive special discounts for each of these items. An abundant array of great restaurants, bars with live music, shopping adventures, outdoor concerts, fun festivals, and seasonal firework displays are a short car ride away at the enchanting Village of Baytowne Wharf and the swank Grand Boulevard in Sandestin.

Personal beach chairs, umbrellas, and tents/canopies are not permitted from March 1st to November 1st. Chairs and umbrellas can be rented through the onsite beach service. Personal chairs and umbrellas only (no tents or canopies) are allowed on the beach from November 1st to March 1st.

Based on the daily temperature and at the HOA's discretion, the community pool is typically heated during spring break.

Great multi family property!
Had a wonderful stay at the Bayou Beach House! Came down with another couple for an adult getaway. Weather was still great mid October. My husband I stayed on the lower level, and let me just say the shower downstairs is amazing! Having the 2 different living levels was great, you could be together, but still have your own space. Property and location is very nice, beach is super close, and food/coffee are a close walk. The home would easily sleep 3 families. I would recommend and be back soon!

Perfect Location!
Great Florida charm. Spent the week here on an adults getaway. Great location. Love the Frangista neighborhood. Short walk to beach access, coffee, restaurants, and bars. Spent most evenings out on the deck playing cards. House has separate living spaces on each floor and two kitchens - major bonus for longer trips with multiple couples or families. Great size for just a few people or lots of people.

Great beach retreat
Took the wife and kids for a short end of the summer trip. Had to say we were super pleased with the house. It was extremely clean and only a short walk away from the beach and community pool. Ocean Reef was really responsive every time we needed to speak to them and we look forward to coming back again in the spring time!

Yes! In fact, you can rent a golf cart at a discounted rate through one of our preferred vendors! Golf carts are only permitted in speed limit zones of 35 MPH or less, and each golf cart rental will take the place of one vehicle parking space. Enjoy the ride!
