South of Scenic 30A and conveniently close to the Gulf Place Town Center, SEAS Inn is a gracious six bedroom vacation home that comfortably accommodates up to 16 beachgoers. This remarkable property is only a short stroll away from the sugary white beach where you may luxuriate in the jeweled waters of the glittering gulf. You may also walk down the shore to explore a freshwater estuary that connects it to Draper Lake. Coastal dune lakes such as this one are a rare treasure and found in very few places in the world. The estuary connection flows in both directions depending upon the tide levels and creates a unique partially salted freshwater lake. These precious lakes support a massive abundance of natural wildlife due to the magical mixture of the water's composition. Since you are just a short distance away from this beachside lake, you may want to try your luck fishing or take a paddleboard or kayak out upon the enchanting, serene waters to enjoy nature at her best.
SEAS Inn is a three-story hospitable home that has a charming old Florida architectural design, blending seamlessly into the residential community around it. The large lushly landscaped yard is studded with towering palms, palmettos and other tropical plants that are bordered by a white picket fence. A columned veranda out front looks out over this lovely scenery along with two upper-level balconies that span all the way across and are accessible from bedrooms. A covered patio and two more upper-level balconies off the back bedrooms overlook the expansive pool patio. Lounge chairs and a table allow you to enjoy poolside dining. Out front, a low shower enables you to wash off sandy feet after returning from the beach.
The first floor incorporates the living, dining and kitchen areas. It also has a full hall bath to rinse off after the pool and for convenient use as a powder room. The white bright, modern living area has a cream-colored couch and matching chairs facing a wall of built-in shelving that houses a large TV. The state of the arts "Eat In" kitchen has a dining table that seats eight while eight more can saddle up on stools to a long white counter bar. Spacious Master Bedroom Suites on the second and third floors have king sized beds, balcony access and private baths with claw foot soaking tubs along with separate showers. Both levels also have comfortably furnished Guest Bedrooms with queen-sized beds and a kid's Bunk Room that are served by full hall baths.
This great Santa Rosa Beach location is within walking distance to a favorite restaurant called Goatfeathers, which features fresh seafood market in case you want to have fun creating your own version of a "Surf n Turf" meal. Gulf Place is two minutes away with a colorful collection of retail shops, boutiques, galleries, restaurants and bistros that wrap around an expansive two-acre grassy outdoor amphitheater. This serves as a focal point for seasonal festivals, live musical entertainment, outdoor concerts and art shows throughout most of the year. For additional amusement venture just a little further and explore WaterColor, Grayton Beach, and Seaside.
