Surfin Safari

"Surfing is a water sport in which the participant is carried by a breaking wave, usually on a surfboard, to the shore." The Beach Boys had the right idea: pack up your stuff and head for the beach! Whether you're good in the pocket, tube-riding, or on the curl -- or not-- bring your beach music and join us at Surfin' Safari, where the livin' is easy. We may not have the big waves of Wiamea Bay or Puerto Escondido, but you CAN hang ten, if you've got the moves.

What a great location! Just a short walk to the beach, with no streets to cross, and the Silver Sands Factory Stores are within walking distance. This newer home won first place in the Destin Parade of homes. It has its own pool, great pool deck, and grill. The first floor holds a spacious living room with flat screen T/DVD, sleeper sofa, dining area, kitchen and utility room. Dark wood furnishings and light tile play off each other. The downstairs queen bedroom shares a bath also accessible from the living room. Pat the happy pig in the kitchen for good luck! He's the only non-safari animal here, but he feels right at home.

The second floor master suite and bedroom (TV/DVD) are expansive, with dark wood furnishings, twin sinks with beautiful cabinetry, and a Juliet balcony. The bunk room is where you'll find all the safari animals; double bunks below and twins on top sleep a lot of youngsters. This room shares a bath with the queen bedroom next door (TV/DVD). Jungle colors from light to dark make for a very inviting environment.
