Destiny Beach Villas

The Destiny Beach Villas neighborhood is located in one of Destin's most prestigious residential communities, simply known as "Destiny." It is nestled between a precious coastal dune lake and the bright sugar-white beach overlooking the glowing Gulf of Mexico waters. Coastal dune lakes of this kind are very rare and found hardly anywhere else on Earth. Their magical mixture of salted artisan spring-fed waters supports an exotic habitat for abundant waterfowl and fish.

Most of the homes throughout the Destiny neighborhoods are large opulent Mediterranean-styled mansions. However, the Destiny Beach Villas consists of only twenty-five two-story duplexes. Most vacation rentals here feature one unit on the first floor and another on the second. Many contain one bedroom, which is situated facing the lakeside with balconies and two full baths. A majority also include queen-sized sleeper sofas in the open living area with the ability to accommodate four happy beach-going guests. Some duplexes have had both of the floor units combined. This design provides two bedrooms downstairs, three baths, and an open living area on the second level.

All vacation residences include complete panoramic views of the lovely Four Prong Lake. Some also have views of the glittering gulf in the distance. This lush, tropically landscaped neighborhood is adorned with royal palm trees to remind you that you are indeed at the beach. A breezy lakeside gazebo is also nearby that features gorgeous waterfront views.

Besides easy access to the gulf, this neighborhood has a beautiful lagoon-shaped swimming pool centered in front of the villas. A pedestrian tunnel conveniently leads under Scenic Highway 98 over to James Lee Beach Park that features multiple beach walkovers. It includes several pavilions for picnics on each side of "The Crab Trap" restaurant and beach bar. This charming Americana-styled restaurant resembles an early 1900's seaside place from the golden years. It features seafood baskets, gumbo, tasty appetizers, salads, fish entrees, sandwiches, burgers, craft cocktails, tropical drinks, cold beer, and wine.

This fantastic location is just minutes away from other famous gulf front restaurants with beach bars, area grocery stores, world-class shopping, and family fun. Championship golf and a professional tennis club are nearby at the Seascape Resort, where Ocean Reef guests receive reduced rates. The captivating idyllic Destin Commons retail village is very close by with an abundance of shopping, dining establishments, and amusements. This prime Destin locale is also only minutes away from Miramar Beach, home to one of the largest discount designer centers in the nation, famously known as Silver Sands Premium Outlets. The enchanting Village of Baytowne Wharf and swank Grand Boulevard is also located nearby in Sandestin. Each destination features incredible shopping adventures, excellent restaurants, lively bars, free concerts, and seasonal festivals.
