This Gulf-front four-bedroom vacation home in Downtown Destin soars three stories above the sugary-white shoreline overlooking the jewel-toned waters with accommodations for 11 beach-loving guests. It is located in the premier residential community of Destin Pointe on Holiday Isle. The bright white sand beach wraps around this exclusively gated community centered upon two natural coastal dune lakes. Precious dune lakes of this kind are found hardly anywhere else in the world and provide abundant habitats for wildlife, a wide variety of fish, and waterfowl. Upper-level verandas provide a view of the glowing gulf on one side and one of the lovely lakes on the other. Destin Pointe also features a large sparkling swimming pool, a bubbling hot tub, a kid’s playground, shuffleboard, and tennis courts.

The spacious beach level of Aqua Sound includes two regal white twin-size beds, a seating area with a couch, a game table, and a raised bar table with three additional chairs. The main open living, dining, and kitchen areas are on the second level. This handsomely furnished space includes rich hardwood flooring and a wall with three floor-to-ceiling double glass doors framing the sparkling seascape. They lead out to a furnished balcony where you may enjoy your favorite drinks with snacks while relishing the scenery and listening to the soothing surf sounds. A plush brown couch with a wide stylish cocktail table is flanked by a caramel-colored leather lounge chair and three rich chocolate-brown leather chairs. The cozy couch also doubles as a queen-size sleeper sofa for additional sleeping space. This seating ensemble faces a large flatscreen TV mounted above a dark credenza for entertainment. A rustic rectangular hardwood dining table with six burgundy-toned double crisscross-backed chairs sits beneath four unique glowing tubular glass light fixtures. The open kitchen has everything needed to create a fun feast with brushed stainless steel appliances, white custom cabinetry, veined granite countertops, and a bar with seating for two. A guest bedroom on this level has a king-size bed with a rich hardwood paneled frame, a separate seating area with a couch that can double as a futon, and a balcony. The ensuite bath includes a black vanity sink cabinet and a walk-in shower. A half bath on this level serves as a convenient powder room.

The top-floor Gulf-front primary bedroom features three sets of double glass doors leading to a romantic columned balcony overlooking the magnificent seascape. Hardwood furnishings include a king-size pillar-post bed framed by two matching cabinets with regal lamps and faces a large flatscreen TV above a dresser. The luxurious ensuite bath includes double vanity sinks richly lavished with veined granite and a glass-walled walk-in shower. The other guest bedroom on this floor has golden hardwood furnishings, which include a queen-size bed with a carved headboard facing a flatscreen TV for entertainment. Double glass doors beside it lead to an expansive balcony with tropical views, and an ensuite bath includes a tub shower combination.

This incredible Downtown Destin location is minutes away from grocery stores, shopping adventures, restaurants, and lively bars. Many are located at HarborWalk Village on Destin’s bustling marina. It features waterfront restaurants, bars with live music, specialty shops, free concerts, fun festivals throughout the year, and seasonal firework celebrations.

First Floor: Bedroom with Two Twin Beds and Seating + Patio Access.

Second Floor: Living Room with Queen Sleeper Sofa and Balcony Access, Kitchen, Dining, King Bedroom with Twin Futon and Walk-In Shower + Balcony Access, Powder Room.

Third Floor: King Primary Bedroom with Walk-In Shower and Balcony Access, Queen Bedroom with Shared Tub/Shower Combo and Balcony Access, Laundry.

Based on the daily temperature and at the HOA's discretion, the Magnolia House community pool is seasonally heated.

Trailers and RVs are NOT permitted at this property. No weddings or events allowed.

Beach Restoration Notice: Okaloosa County is conducting a beach restoration project along Holiday Isle beginning in March 2026, with sand placement expected from approximately April through early May. During this time, guests may see survey crews, equipment, and active sand placement on portions of the beach. The beach will remain open, but temporary closures may occur in work areas as the project progresses.

Fantastic family fun
Property was absolutely stunning and had amazing views of the Gulf. My father with Alzheimer’s that we care for spent most of the trip on the porch looking at the Gulf and listening to the waves, and my new grandchild enjoyed quite a few naps out there as well. The property comfortably fit our crew of 9 with room to spare. Having a room that could fit my husband and I and my dad calmed my fears about having my dad in an unknown environment. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything I needed to prepare meals during our stay, so we never had to leave once we arrived. I can honestly say, my family couldn’t have found a better place for a much needed vacation.

Our New Favorite Beach House...Perfect!
Our recent stay at Ocean Reef, a beachfront home located near Destin Point, exceeded expectations in every way. The property was exactly as described, offering a prime location with easy access to the beach and private pool—perfect for both families and children. Wonderful location
We enjoyed the house and location. The house is right on the beach. Destin Pointe is an exceptional location, with private access to the Gulf and quiet snorkelling cove at East Pass, this was our second time at Aqua Sound. The whole family loves the house.

Is there a boardwalk to the beach?

Answer:

Aqua Sound does not have a private boardwalk, but a private neighborhood beach access is located only one house over. Be sure to bring the sunscreen!

How far is pool from this house?

The Destin Pointe neighborhood features two community pools! One is a short 30 second walk from the home, while the other is a 4-5 minute walk. The pool further away has a parking lot should you choose to drive, or you may board the complimentary seasonal tram. Enjoy!
