Backyard Bliss on 30A's Grayton Beach

Description

Although this vacation home is minutes away from one of the most acclaimed beaches in the nation, a newly completed pool courtyard is steps away to bring some "backyard bliss" to eight carefree guests. You are instantly embraced by its charming appeal as soon as you arrive since it has a nostalgic golden American-styled design with a columned veranda out front. Rocking chairs on the porch invite you to relax and enjoy the balmy breeze while sipping on some lemonade or maybe a margarita. However, the real fun is out back around the 25'x12' heated private swimming pool and hot tub. Oh, and did we mention pool heat is complimentary during the cooler times of the year?!

A tall white privacy fence at Backyard Bliss creates a courtyard effect around a bright, tiled patio centered on the pool. Flower beds on three sides are studded with towering palm trees interspersed with small clusters of palmettos. Rows of lounge chairs face the sun on two sides, while a comfortable set of outdoor furniture is placed on the other side. Multiple sets of umbrellas are provided to move around for shade, while a gas grill is nearby for fun poolside barbeques. A rustic plank-topped table on the other side of the pool has plenty of seating, so your group may enjoy some festive poolside dining. When you're ready to hit the beach or explore 30A, the home includes four complimentary bicycles. In addition to bikes, a free seasonal shuttle is very nearby that will take you to the beach, Seaside, and other cool coastal 30A towns.

The interiors of Backyard Bliss feature a bright, spacious look with a vaulted ceiling, multiple windows, and comfortable furnishings. It has an elegant coastal style with a white couch and two regal pale gray cushioned accent chairs situated around a decorative throw rug. A large wall-mounted flatscreen TV above a cream-colored cabinet provides entertainment. Nearby a white dining set includes a rectangular beadboard glass-topped table, sleek high-backed matching chairs at each end, and pairs of country criss-cross backed chairs on each side. The open kitchen has a rich brown mottled granite-topped counter bar, white custom cabinetry, and brushed stainless steel appliances to fulfill all culinary needs.

The handsome Master Bedroom that includes a full ensuite bath has a stylish upscale look with a king-sized bed that features a tall light blue tufted headboard, a dark cabinet, and a formal chair, as well as a wall-mounted flatscreen TV. One of the Guest Bedrooms with a queen-sized bed also features a high cloth headboard, while the other is perfect for kids with a comfortable twin over full-sized bunk bed and twin trundle. These bedrooms share a full hall bath that doubles as a convenient powder room.

This great location is five minutes away from the captivating historic village center of Grayton Beach on the shimmering shore beside the gulf's jeweled waters. It also features a unique shopping and dining experience. The Zoo Gallery offers vibrant creations by artists from around the nation with a wide array of decorative art. The famous Red Bar directly across the street provides great dining, wonderful drinks, and live music regularly. Chiringo offers Spanish-styled tapas, cold beers, and tropical concoctions. Picturesque coastal villages along Scenic 30A are also minutes away with loads of restaurants, friendly beach bars, specialty shops, boutiques, outdoor musical concerts, and fun festivals.

This was our second time staying here!

This trip came right on time for our family. Coming back to this rental felt like coming home for us. We enjoyed watching our group explore, swim, and make memories together. This is our 4th stay at the property, Backyard Bliss.

As we pulled in we said, "Our home away from home." This year our visit was minus one. The last time we visited my step dad was here. Unfortunately he was battling lung cancer. In July of 2023 he lost the battle to an unforgiving illness -> Lung Cancer. The Backyard Bliss always provides the comforts of home for our family. Nearby restaurants, the beach, and a pool to relax and enjoy some conversations/laughter. We are already looking forward to our next trip.

Fabulous house, pool and hot tub!

What a great house! Large den and eating area. Well equipped kitchen. Loved the front porch rockers. But the pool area was the most amazing part. Loved the hot tub. Heats up very quickly. Great gas grill. Plenty of chairs and umbrellas. Large dining table outside. Loved eating there. Comfortable bed with lots of pillows. There’s an alarm on the door from the house to the pool deck. As a grandmother I loved this safety feature. Just a few steps to the bike path. Thank you for sharing this special oasis.

Blissful stay

Great location. The 4 available bikes are wonderful. Rode to Watercolor; don’t miss the gardens there. Near the gardens we rented kayaks. Rode bikes to Grayton State Park for beach time. There are toilets available at the beach there. Went on a guided trail hike with a park ranger. Walked to restaurants and shops from the house. By late afternoon we were always back for the evening pool bliss.

I am blessed to have a great family.

First time here at this place. Nice pool and hot tub. The Washington Park is a great place to ride pikes. Miles and miles of dirt roads. Weather was great. Two grandkids and son in law were in the pool every day; cool but ok. Will be back soon. Beach was perfect. A little windy but the sand is blinding white. Water was blue/green.

This was our second time staying here!

We love the peace and quiet and easy access to the surrounding areas. Renting a golf cart and riding around Grayton and Sea Side was one of our favorite parts of the trip. The pool and hot tub in the backyard was a plus! The weather could have been a little warmer but that did not stop us from going to the beach! All of the restaurants in Grayton were very good, The Red Bar, AJ's, Chiringo's and Hurricane Oyster Bar. We had the best family fall break here! Can't wait to come back!

A quiet and peaceful location with easy and convenient access to the beach, restaurants and stores. Having your own pool and hot tub is a big plus. The Beachcamp Brewpup, Hurricane Oyster Bar and Grace Pizza and Shakes were fun places to eat.

Had lots of fun in the pool our six year old learned to swim under water on this very trip! We love to come down in mid August when all the southern schools are already back in session. Empty-ish beaches and a short line at Black Bear Bread Co. Get the Peach Iced Tea. Enjoyed out sunny and hot stay. We cant wait to come back!

Our children loved riding the tram to the beach. It was very hot this week so thats where we spent most of our time. We enjoyed evening sunsets, dinner at AJ's, a trip to Silver Sands Outlet Mall and Gulf World. It was the perfect end to summer before school starts.

We love the location!

Backyard Bliss is not in the crowded part of the beach and we enjoy that. Please try Hurrican Oyster Bar. They have amazing food and the Sunday brunch is to die for! The backyard pool and hot tub are great amenities and the house is comfortable and well appointed. We will be back!

Best Winter Beach Escape!

We decided to visit a warmer climate during winter in Colorado and it was perfect! The heated pool and hot tub made even the cloudy days and evenings enjoyable. We didn’t have a car for the week but between the bikes included with the rental property and the free beach shuttle we had no problems getting around Grayton and the rest of 30A. We enjoyed many of the local restaurants within walking distance including breakfast, lunch, and dinner spots. The bike path along 30A made getting to Seaside and other beaches along 30A simple and easy! The house was beautiful, clean, and had all the amenities you could need. We would recommend this home to everyone and we can’t wait to come back for another visit!

Beautiful Beach Home

Highly recommend staying here on your next trip to Grayton! The home is very clean and convenient to the beach and Grayton shops and restaurants. The free tram is right across the street and runs every 10 minutes… We took it to the beach every day, which was amazing! There are also 4 bikes that you can use to ride around, but so much is in walking distance as well including a local coffee shop and bakery! Already looking forward to returning!!

Wonderful!

What a beautiful home! It is open and inviting and has everything we needed to enjoy our vacation, including bicycles! It was just a short walk to the trollies that took us down to Grayton Beach and an even shorter walk to dinner and breakfast at the nearby shops. The backyard and pool were heavenly and super private. We had the best time and hope to go back soon!

Such a delight!!!

This house/location exceeded my expectations! The house was well-kept, clean, warm, and cozy. The pool was amazing, especially the hot tub portion! The fenced in backyard helped make it feel like we were by ourselves even though there were other homes and businesses around. We loved the short walk to Black Bear cafe every morning for coffee and pastries! The tram to the beach was also a short walk and took us a right to the public access area! We were able to walk up to Red Bar from the beach (definitely recommend) to grab lunch or a drink! I could go on and on about this house and location! You’ll love it! Definitely going back!

You're in luck! A free seasonal beach shuttle is located just across the street from the Shops of Grayton on the east side of Highway 283. The shuttle can easily accommodate all of your beach gear. Wait times are typically less than 10 minutes. Or, you can skip the wait and take advantage of the four complimentary bikes provided at the property. See you on the shore!

Are there any discounts for renting LSV carts through this rental?
