Here, tidal estuaries create a thriving habitat for both fresh and saltwater creatures, as well as majestic birds like Great Blue Herons, Snowy Egrets, and Ospreys. Guests can revel in paddleboarding, kayaking, or casting a line in these tranquil waters. The shallow estuary connecting the lake to the Gulf, just down the beach, is perfect for a whimsical water adventure.

Beyond the beach and captivating lake, Beach Buddy treats guests to the luxury of a private swimming pool surrounded by a spacious patio with comfortable poolside loungers. Elevated above a covered parking area, the home's wraparound balcony provides a perfect perch to relax and soak in views of the sparkling pool below. Inside, the open living and dining area radiates warmth with a vaulted ceiling and sunlight streaming through multiple windows. Two cozy white love seats and a wicker armchair encircle a flat-screen TV, while a marble-topped cocktail table and beach cottage accents create a welcoming, tropical vibe. A charming corner nook with a round table for two invites intimate conversations, while the main dining alcove offers seating for six around a colonial-style table. The well-equipped kitchen, complete with a large gas range, is ready for culinary adventures, whether you're whipping up family meals or experimenting with local seafood.

The primary bedroom is a serene retreat featuring a queen-sized bed and a private ensuite bath with a tub-shower combination. A guest bedroom, decked in cottage charm, also boasts a queen-sized bed framed by whimsical starfish wall art and a woven straw trunk at its foot. Another guest room features twin beds adorned with playful sea turtle decorations. These cozy guest quarters share a full hall bath, which also functions as a convenient powder room.

This idyllic Santa Rosa Beach location is just minutes from the vibrant coastal hub of Gulf Place, a lively village brimming with delightful eateries, friendly bars, an ice cream parlor with arcade games, and a charming coffee shop. Fashion boutiques and art galleries line the streets, while the palm-studded outdoor amphitheater hosts live music, art shows, and festive events.

Nice stay with a pool
Great location, floor plan, and backyard. Close to beach and restaurants. Perfect size for 2 small families. Kitchen well stocked with utensils and cookware. Plentiful patio furniture around the pool.

Stayed at Beach Buddy for fall break and was very pleased
Easy walk to the beach and to Goatfeathers restaurant. Beach was not as crowded as it was when we stayed in the Seagrove area. Plenty of good restaurants to eat at, Stinky's Fish Camp, Mimos, and Grayton Seafood Company were our favorite. Pool area is very nice with plenty of shaded and non shaded seating places. Home had chairs and umbrellas to use which was nice since we forgot ours. Plenty of parking and street was a quiet dead end street with no through traffic. Will def look at staying in this area again.

Loved the house we rented in Santa Rosa, FL through ocean reef.
The location was amazing. Prior to booking I had a few questions and they were answered quickly. Upon checkin we were able to access the house early, which was a delighted surprise. The house was exactly what was pictured and expected and our overall vacation was so enjoyable! Departure was made easy and much less chaotic because the check out process was simple and minimal!

Perfect House for our family
Our family of 6 along with my in-laws stayed in Beach Buddy for a week. The proximity to the beach, restaurants, and shops is perfect! You can get everywhere by walking 5 minutes! The house was perfect for us, especially with the fold out couch! The pool was very well maintained and the kids had a blast swimming! The cleaning staff did a great job preparing the house for us (in the middle of a torrential downpour no less!!!) and the amenities were well stocked! My only complaint is that we were not able to stay longer!!!!

Beach Buddy features a fantastic heated private pool. Once reserved - you can call, email, or message via the Guest Portal to have the pool heater turned on. Pool heat is an additional $50.00 per day and is available from October through April.
