Commodore's Retreat 207

Commodore's Retreat 207 is a one bedroom beachfront getaway spot that overlooks the emerald hued waters of the gulf and can be a perfect place for a romantic rendezvous or to host a small family vacation. In addition to the King size master suite, a bunk bed is nestled beside the main hallway and a queen size sleeper sofa is in the living room. In total up to six happy beach going guests may be accommodated here. Commodore's Retreat is located near Eastern Lake off Scenic 30A just east of Seagrove Beach. This four story beachfront residential condominium has a fair amount of privacy since there are only a handful of vacation rentals. Commodore's Retreat has a large swimming pool that flanks the front side of the building while the brilliant bright white sand beach beckons from out back. In no time at all you may go from taking a refreshing plunge in the pool to swimming around in the iridescent jewel toned waters of the gorgeous gulf. A long sloping ramp leads gently down the dune onto the soft sugary beach below.

The main open living room of Commodore's Retreat 207 has a wall of glass doors leading out to a beachfront balcony where you may simultaneously enjoy the sensational scenery and also listen to the soothing surf sounds. The moon rises magically out of the eastern gulf during the summer months casting a shimmering silvery veil along the beach. It is replaced during the winter months by the sun, which sinks down into the watery western horizon and mirrors spectacular sunsets upon its surface. The open living area has latte colored carpeting throughout, two fashionably striped couches and a white dining table with three chairs. The room's spaciousness is accented by an extra window providing additional light, since this is an end unit in this building. A wall mounted TV provides entertainment. The bright kitchen has a cheerful vibrant look due to the white cabinetry and appliances that are accented by sunny yellow walls. A pair of raised chairs on a counter bar are provided for extra seating.

The Master Bedroom has a lovely old fashioned metal framed king size bed, its own sunny window and a flat screen TV for viewing. This bedroom has easy access to a full hall bath that doubles as a convenient powder room.

This South Walton location seems off the beaten path in its own little world but is just a short distance away from Seagrove Beach and Seaside. Both of these picturesque coastal villages offer a wide assortment of delightful diversions including popular dining establishments, laid back beach bars, fun family festivities, outdoor musical concerts, shopping excursions and special seasonal celebrations throughout the year.
