This wonderful one-bedroom vacation rental residence provides a perfect place for a romantic getaway with that special someone in your life - but it also has twin bunks and a queen-sized sleeper sofa. If you have a small family, please bring the kids with you since there are sleeping accommodations for up to six beach-going guests. The "Star of the Show" is the beautiful beach and this special "end unit" has extra windows facing east, providing vistas of the shimmering shoreline. The vivid gulf views are seen as you enter the open living area of Crystal Sands 201B and are framed by a wall of sliding glass doors that lead out to the breezy gulf-front balcony. A table and chairs invite you to enjoy favorite tropical drinks while experiencing the exceptional views firsthand that extend as far as one can see across the jewel-toned waters all the way to the horizon. A large window above a cream-colored couch provides additional sparkling views and a bright sunny look. It faces a charming beach-inspired cocktail table and a matching credenza that houses decorative art and a flatscreen TV for entertainment. Nearby a round glass-topped dining table near a large painting of giant white water lilies includes four high backed straw woven tropical chairs. A sleek dark granite topped open bar has three wide saddle-topped wooden stools for extra entertaining space in front of an ample kitchen.

The Master Bedroom has an ensuite private bath, while a full hall bath near the bunk beds serves additional guests and provides a convenient powder room. The handsome Master Suite has rich, dark, attractive furnishings with a king-sized bed and a sunny window that looks out upon a palm tree top.

Crystal Sands is aptly named since it overlooks a shimmering ribbon of the white 'crystal sands' that parallel this three-story gulf-front condominium complex. The atmosphere is decidedly laid back, which is surprising since the physical location is near the heart of everything Destin has to offer. There is a grill area and picnic tables beside the bright beach with direct shore access that includes showers. A swimming pool at the front of the building is heated for year-round use.

This location on Scenic Highway 98 in Destin is minutes away from popular gulf front restaurants with friendly beach bars, liquor wine shops, and grocery stores. One of the most popular shopping destinations in the area, known as Destin Commons, is close by. This captivating retail village provides an idyllic setting for shopping with turreted towers, fountains, palm-lined avenues, a wide array of stores, restaurants, bars, and an AMC Multiplex Theater. Destin's HarborWalk Village is only about twenty-five minutes away towards the west. It hosts dockside restaurants, lively bars, outdoor concerts, year-round festivals, and fantastic seasonal firework displays. They also feature fishing adventures, sunset dinner cruises, dolphin sightseeing excursions, and watercraft rentals, many of which offer reduced rates to Ocean Reef Resorts guests. The enchanting Village of Baytowne Wharf and swank Grand Boulevard are fairly close by in Sandestin, which also feature great restaurants, lively bars, galleries, fashion boutiques, fine clothiers, specialty shops, outdoor concerts, year-round festivals, all and vibrant seasonal fireworks.

Crystal Sands is a smoke free environment with no smoking of any kind on the grounds, walkways, balconies, patios, parking lots, sidewalks, boardwalks, or the beach.

Personal umbrellas, tents, tarps, canopies, or cabanas are not permitted on the beach, except for baby tents, which must not exceed 48” in height. Two chairs and one umbrella are provided, and additional set-ups can be rented through the onsite beach service. Private chairs are allowed to be set up behind the rental row of umbrellas.

Based on the daily temperature and at the HOA's discretion, the community pool is typically heated during Thanksgiving week and March through April.
