Crystal Sands is an aptly named vacation destination that overlooks a shimmering ribbon of the white 'crystal sands' paralleling this three-story gulf-front condominium complex. The atmosphere is casually laid back, which is surprising since the physical location is near the heart of everything Destin and Emerald Coast have to offer. This one-bedroom vacation rental residence provides accommodations for up to six happy beachgoers, so feel free to bring the kids with you!

Crystal Sands 217A is a special "end unit" with extra-windows, presenting a bright, spacious look. The comfortable furnishings are quite lovely, including a cream-colored couch flanked by a beautiful floral patterned accent chair. They face double vistas of the sensational seascape and a large flatscreen TV mounted on a handsome hardwood chest. A beachfront balcony with seating overlooks the glowing gulf and beautiful beach. During the summer months, full moons romantically display their magical silvery sheen across the gulf's surface, providing a dazzling effect. Crystal Sands also has a community pool that is heated during the chilly times of the year, which happily coincides with spectacular sunsets that majestically descend into the gulf. Beach-inspired decorative art throughout this home features paintings, prints, and sculptures of sea life, a boat on the sugary beach, seashells, cranes, palm trees, along with a turtle, to name a few. The dining area near the open kitchen has an intimate hardwood table with four wide square-topped wooden stools. Raised wooden stools beside a richly mottled granite-topped bar offer extra seating for serving tropical drinks and treats. The kitchen has brushed stainless steel appliances with everything you need to create fun culinary delights.

The Master Bedroom has a full ensuite bath, a sunny window, and upscale contemporary furnishings, which include a king-sized bed. A twin bunk nook is tucked off of the hallway with access to a convenient powder room.

This Crystal Sands location on Scenic Highway 98 in Destin's Crystal Beach is minutes away from popular gulf front restaurants with friendly beach bars overlooking the jewel-toned waters. It is also near wine shops and grocery stores. Fashion boutiques, along with specialty stores, are located nearby at Destin Commons, Paradise Key Shopping, and the City Market. Destin Commons is one of the most popular retail destinations in the area with a captivating European look which includes turreted towers, fountains, palm-lined avenues, a wide array of stores, restaurants, bars, and an AMC Multiplex Theater. The bustling Destin marina that's home to the largest private charter fishing fleet in North America and HarborWalk Village is only about twenty minutes away towards the west. It features dockside restaurants, casual bars, outdoor concerts, festivals all year round, and fabulous seasonal firework celebrations. They also feature fishing adventures, sunset dinner cruises, dolphin sightseeing excursions, and watercraft rentals, many of which offer reduced rates to Ocean Reef Resorts guests. Minutes away towards the east in Miramar Beach are the famous Silver Sands Premium Outlets, one of the largest Designer Discount Centers in the nation showcasing bargains on world-class goods. The enchanting Village of Baytowne Wharf and posh Grand Boulevard in Sandestin are also located there with great restaurants, lively bars, galleries, fashion boutiques, fine clothiers, specialty shops, outdoor concerts, year-round festivals, and vibrant seasonal firework displays.

Crystal Sands is a smoke free environment with no smoking of any kind on the grounds, walkways, balconies, patios, parking lots, sidewalks, boardwalks, or the beach.

Personal umbrellas, tents, tarps, canopies, or cabanas are not permitted on the beach, except for baby tents, which must not exceed 48” in height. Two chairs and one umbrella are provided, and additional set-ups can be rented through the onsite beach service. Private chairs are allowed to be set up behind the rental row of umbrellas

Based on the daily temperature and at the HOA's discretion, the community pool is typically heated during Thanksgiving week and March through April.

What a view!

We were all very happy with the property as it was clean and had everything we needed in the kitchen. Because it was a corner property we had added windows and the view was spectacular! Absolutely loved sitting out on the balcony looking at the gulf and just listening to the water. Having the beach outside our door was wonderful and we found our place to be peaceful and beautiful! Would definitely love to stay here again!

The Best View!

We have rented condos along the Destin beach for 30 years. This was our second year at Crystal Sands. Our corner unit had the best view of any condo yet. And we enjoyed eating seafood at a dozen different restaurants, choices we've curated after years of visits.
