This wonderful beachfront vacation rental has two bedrooms and a lofted bonus room to comfortably accommodate eight beach-going guests. It is located at Crystal Sands in Destin, aptly named since this low-rise residential complex overlooks a shimmering ribbon of white ‘crystal sand’ beach beside the glittering jewel-toned gulf. The atmosphere is decidedly laid back, which is surprising since it is located in the heart of everything Destin has to offer. An onsite swimming pool is provided for refreshing fun and is seasonally heated during the cooler times of the year. A wide beach promenade is centered on the bright sugary shoreline, where grilling stations are also available for fun family cookouts.

Crystal Sands 312A is spacious with a soaring vaulted ceiling in the open living area and a wall of sliding glass doors that showcase views of the gorgeous gulf. They lead out to a beachfront balcony with a raised dining set to enjoy favorite tropical drinks and snacks while relishing the sparkling views. The fashionable living area has light latte-colored walls accented by parchment tile flooring and subtle tropical décor. A comfortable beige couch doubles as a queen-sized sleeper sofa, and a matching loveseat completes the cozy seating ensemble. This is a great place to relish the gulf views while enjoying your favorite show on the large wall-mounted flatscreen TV. A rustic beach-inspired hardwood plank table with bench seating sits near a sleek white kitchen bar with black vintage modern stools for additional dining and dining. The state-of-the-art kitchen has everything needed to create culinary delights.

The primary bedroom on the lower level has white cottage-styled furnishings with a king-sized bed facing a large flatscreen TV mounted above a dresser for nighttime entertainment. Striking abstract paintings above the bed and two white side tables with gleaming black base lamps provide a chic look. This bedroom has access to a full hall bath with a tub shower combination which also serves as a powder room. An open staircase leads up to a lofted bedroom with a king-sized bed that faces a large flatscreen TV mounted above a white dresser for evening viewing pleasure. Rustic sliding barn doors near the loft staircase can be slid shut for privacy. A full hall bath with a tub shower combination connects to a bedroom with two twin beds for kids or young adults.

This outstanding Crystal Beach locale is minutes away from popular gulf front restaurants with friendly beach bars and grocery stores that include a Publix, Whole Foods, Fresh Market, and a Super Walmart. The popular Destin Commons retail village nearby provides an idyllic shopping experience with turreted towers, a classic fountain, and a geyser plaza for kids connected by palm-lined avenues. It features a wide array of wonderful stores, restaurants, bars, and an AMC multiplex theater. Crystal Sands is also minutes away from Destin’s HarborWalk Village towards the west, which features dockside restaurants, lively bars, outdoor concerts, fun year-round festivals, and fabulous seasonal fireworks. The renowned Silver Sands Premium Outlets towards the east in Miramar Beach features bargain shopping for world-class designer goods. The enchanting Village of Baytowne Wharf and posh Grand Boulevard are also located there at the Sandestin Resort, with great restaurants, bars, shopping adventures, concerts, fun festivals, and seasonal firework displays.

Crystal Sands is a smoke free environment with no smoking of any kind on the grounds, walkways, balconies, patios, parking lots, sidewalks, boardwalks, or the beach.

Personal umbrellas, tents, tarps, canopies, or cabanas are not permitted on the beach, except for baby tents, which must not exceed 48” in height. Two chairs and one umbrella are provided, and additional set-ups can be rented through the onsite beach service. Private chairs are allowed to be set up behind the rental row of umbrellas.

Based on the daily temperature and at the HOA's discretion, the community pool is typically heated during Thanksgiving week and March through April.
