Deja Blue

This lovely four-bedroom Highland Parks vacation home is in the charming 30A coastal village of Blue Mountain Beach. It can comfortably accommodate up to nine beach-going guests. The home has a very welcoming presence with a wide front porch that invites you to "come and sit a while" and enjoy your favorite drink. This recently built residence has a golden Americana exterior charm that is complemented by state-of-the-art creature comfort interiors.

Deja Blue features double glass doors that lead into an open living, dining, and kitchen area with a crisp, bright look. A wall of windows provides lots of natural light while soaring ceilings accentuate space. Two matching armchairs flank a white safari slip-covered couch that ensembles around a tropical straw rug facing a large wall-mounted flatscreen TV. Another part of the room includes a handsome rectangular hardwood dining table. It features two nautically striped chairs on each side and rope-woven cushioned chairs at each end. These end chairs match two raised straw woven barstools beside a granite-topped counter for additional wining and dining. The kitchen features white custom cabinetry matched with a gleaming subway tile backsplash and state-of-the-art stainless steel appliances. Nearby a glass door leads to a covered screened-in porch with cozy outdoor furnishings. A table is provided for dining, and a large wall-mounted flatscreen TV is available for that "must-see" game.

The Master Bedroom Suite is also located on this level. It includes comfortable cottage-style furnishings with a king-sized bed framed by two elegant side tables. The private bath has a mottled granite topped dresser with two vanity sinks and a walk-in shower. A half bath serves as a convenient powder room off the living area.

A stately open white spindle rail staircase leads from the living area upstairs to the three guest bedrooms. One Guest Bedroom is a king suite with a decorative white metal bed frame and a private bath with a tub shower combination. A corner Guest Bedroom with two sun windows has an enchanting dark decorative metal framed queen-sized bed, while a plush Bunk Room includes a twin above a full bed. These guest quarters share a full hall bath with a tub shower combination and a double vanity sink.

This vacation destination is a short distance away from the sugary shoreline overlooking the jewel-toned waters of the glowing gulf. It is steps away from a lavish community swimming pool that resembles a tropical oasis. A lovely lagoon-shaped  seasonally heated pool has an island with a tropical palm tree in its center. The spacious patio is also adorned with palms. It includes a bubbling hot tub above a stone waterfall that cascades down into a smaller pool. There are restroom facilities on-site and an observation tower to look out upon the sensational scenery.

Blue Mountain Beach boasts the highest elevation on the entire Gulf of Mexico. It is centered on South Walton's Scenic 30A, minutes away from the idyllic lifestyle this area has to offer. This coastal village is mostly residential with a decidedly aid back atmosphere and home to some local artists. It features excellent local restaurants with bars, an old-fashioned ice cream parlor, a wonderful bakery, and Walton County's oldest Health Food Store. Many restaurants, friendly beach bars, shopping adventures, outdoor amphitheater concerts, and fun year-round festivals are minutes away in each direction.

Second Floor: King Bedroom with Tub/Shower Combo, Queen Bedroom, Hall Bath with Tub/Shower Combo, Bunk Room with Full/Twin Bunk.

Based on the daily temperature and at the HOA's discretion, the community pool is typically heated March-May and October-December.
