Destin2bHere, formerly known as Perrywinkle Palms, is a stylish vacation home that is located in the lovely lake side residential community of Kokomo Kove. This three story residence sits right on the lake and is just a short leisurely stroll from the sugar white sand beach. The design exudes a cool coastal charm with upscale professional décor. Comfortable furnishings throughout embrace you to enjoy a casual, laid back retreat away from the work-a-day stress of everyday life. Rich molasses tone colored heart of pine wood flooring flows throughout the main living area that has a cream colored couch facing a flat screen TV. Two walls of windows in this room allow you to enjoy the special outdoor scenery which includes the lovely lake where you may see Great Blue Herons or snowy White Egrets scavenging for fish. Glass doors lead out to a large deck that surrounds a sparkling saltwater swimming pool that overlooks this tranquil watery oasis. There is a gas grill there as well so you may create your own barbeque and enjoy it poolside. The open state of the arts kitchen has stainless steel appliances and a gracefully arched black granite island with bar seating. This set up encourages the enjoyment of good times, favorite drinks and savory seafood appetizers. The glass topped dining table sits nearby in a sunny nook where you may relish having a special savory family feast. A charming Guest Bedroom with a queen sized bed and twin trundle on this floor have access to a full hall bathroom.

Stairs lead to the Primary Bedroom Suite that is chic and tropically fashioned with decorative art as well as a king sized bed. The Primary Bathroom is truly luxurious with a raised deep Garden Tub where you may have a soothing soak. A large separate glassed in shower has multiple spa valves providing a refreshing invigorating water massage. Another Guest Bedroom with a bonus queen sized bed and twin trundle are also on this level and have a full bathroom en suite. Both suites have doors that lead outside. Stunning views of this same scenery may be savored in the special lofted Bonus Room that with a full sized bed and a flat screen TV. Doors open out onto the Observation Deck that looks down across this beautiful setting where you will feel like you're on top of the world.

This amazing location off Scenic Highway 98 is close to popular beachfront restaurants, fun lively bars, grocery stores, wine outlets, abundant retail stores and multiple family amusement venues.

First Floor: Living Room with Queen Sleeper Sofa and Patio Access, Kitchen, Dining, Queen Bedroom with Twin Trundle and Shared Tub/Shower Combo.

Second Floor: King Bedroom with Walk-In Shower and Soaking Tub + Balcony Access, Queen Bedroom with Twin Trundle and Tub/Shower Combo + Balcony Access, Laundry.

Third Floor: Bonus Room with Full Bed and Balcony Access.

*add $50.00 per day to heat pool (available Oct-April if needed)

Personal tents, canopies, and umbrellas are not allowed on the beach. Umbrellas can be rented through the onsite beach service.

Quiet Destin Stay

To summarize, the home was in a perfect location for our group. It was a quick walk to the beach and restaurants. We also enjoyed the quietness of the neighborhood and being located on a cul-de-sac. The home had a nice layout, and the pool was a perfect size. The view was breathtaking every morning for sipping coffee or a bloody mary (no judgment) :) We highly recommend and will stay again at Destin 2Be Here.

We have stayed in this gem of a home for the last 3 years. We absolutely LOVE staying here as a family! From the house being so amazing - to always feeling at home, and we love the neighborhood the house is in, Kokomo Kove. It’s so cute & quiet. It is So nice having the pool at the home (we only wish it was heated in October/Nov. we always pay for the heat each stay, if not, the water is super cold. It just adds another expense to the trip) and the beautiful lot it sits on. Beach is very close, also. Lastly, The home is very clean - thank you, Ocean Reef! Everyone at Ocean Reef is always so welcoming, professional, and helpful. We always appreciate renting from you guys & look forward to returning next fall at our favorite beach and home!

Relaxing Spring Break

This was a great house for our recent trip! Great beds, nice decor, easy beach access and perfectly heated pool for the cooler temps this week. The location was excellent for cooking meals at the house (near Whole Foods) and enjoying the local seafood! Short walk to the beautiful beach that wasn’t overcrowded. While I prefer to keep interactions in a single application (VRBO,) it was a smooth technical experience. Appreciated the text reminders about garbage day, I need those at home :)

Beautifully kept.

The location was absolutely perfect for our visit. The house was a bit large for us as we are a family of four. My two teenagers fully enjoyed having their own rooms and bathrooms. We found everything we needed to make this home seem 'just like home.' The layout of the house is perfect. Our boys enjoyed the third floor room, which served as their gaming area during our week stay. It was our pleasure to enjoy this gorgeous home for our week in Destin.
