The Edgewater Beach Resort is an architectural masterpiece whose design was inspired by a luxurious hotel on the French Riviera. The ship-like styling is crescent shaped and rises in step like fashion up to 18 stories tall with open terraces each level. The look is quite stunning since it looks like a luxury liner just docked on this particularly gorgeous part of the beach in Destin! The lovely landscaped resort grounds extend away from the building towards the sugary shore with expansive lawns accented with islands of tropical palms. Two large lagoon shaped swimming pools are nestled together beside the curvature of the building on two levels. One has a refreshing waterfall while the other is seasonally heated for year round use. There is also a simmering adult hot tub and a kid's wading pool. A Tiki Bar and Grill allows you to dine poolside while enjoying your favorite tropical drinks. You may also create your own Surf n Turf delight since grills are also near the beach and pool. The 420 linear feet of private beach provides panoramic views of the sun splattered waters that spreads out in all directions with shimmering emerald hues.

Edgewater 204 is a decidedly comfortable, plush, home-like vacation rental that has views of the sensational scenery since it sits at ground level. Sliding glass doors off the main living area frame these vistas across the lush lawns that overlook the glistening gulf in the distance. A covered patio with a table and chairs allows you to enjoy these views. The patio is also conveniently accessible from the Master Bedroom Suite.

The open main living area has a large wrap around couch that can double as a queen size sleeper sofa. Along with the three bedrooms this vacation rental can sleep up to eight guests. The furnishing ensemble includes three accent armchairs, two of which have fanciful Floridian flair. Rich caramel toned tile flooring throughout provides a warm feel. A rectangular glass topped table has six cushioned high backed chairs for dining. Three raised bar stools nearby face the "L" shaped granite countertop where drinks and savory snacks may be easily served. The open kitchen has everything you need to create a fun family feast.

The Master Bedroom has a serene décor with pleasing pastel colors, comfortable furnishings, a flat screen TV and a full luxury bath en suite. A king size bed sits beside the triple panel of glass doors that provide beautiful views and lead out to the patio. One of the Guest Rooms also has a king size bed and full bath en suite while another has a queen size bed with access to a full hall bath that doubles as a powder room. Both rooms have sunny windows, cheerful furnishings, angled mirrored walls to accentuate size and flat screen TVs.

This Miramar Beach location places you close to popular beachfront restaurants, grocery stores, wine outlets and the nation's largest designer discount outlet known as Silver Sands. Family amusements, seasonal festivals, free concerts, boutiques, fine restaurants and lively bars are minutes away at Baytowne Wharf and Grande Boulevard in Sandestin.

Tents and canopies are not allowed on the beach. Umbrellas can be rented through the onsite beach service.

Boats, golf carts, storage trailers, and recreational vehicles are not permitted.

Based on the daily temperature and at the HOA's discretion, the community pool is typically heated Christmas through February.

Rates reflect a discount for a building restoration project that will be in effect from September 2024 through March 2025.
