Edgewater Destin is a monumental masterpiece of architecture inspired by the design of a luxury hotel on the French Riviera. It rises up in step-like fashion up to nineteen stories in height with open ended terraces. The entire crescent shaped building wraps around lagoon shaped swimming pools beside the glistening gulf. From Scenic Gulf Drive it looks like a giant multi-decked luxury liner has just arrived and decided to dock at this particularly beautiful beach. The resort grounds extend away from the building towards the sugar white shore with expansive lush lawns that are accented with clustered islands of towering palms and other tropical plants.

Edgewater 205 is a one bedroom vacation rental residence that happens to look out over this beautifully landscaped tropical oasis at ground level with views of the gulf in the distance. You will find yourself wanting to spend a lot of time here on the covered patio enjoying the vibrant views along with your favorite tropical drinks. Sliding glass doors provide access and frame the scenery from indoors which includes a comfortably furnished open main living area. A soft toned couch that doubles as a queen size sleeper sofa face these views as well as a flat screen TV. Nearby a round glass topped table with four chairs sit beneath an elegant domed chandelier for lovely dining. The open kitchen has additional raised seating and an "L" shaped counter bar where tasty appetizers may be served. The Master Bedroom has direct access to a full bath, a king size bed, charming creamy white wicker furnishings and a triple panel glass door that leads out to the patio.

Two sparkling swimming pools sit beside the beautiful beach so that you can enjoy pool action and the shimmering Gulf of Mexico simultaneously. One has a refreshing waterfall while the other pool is heated for use during the cooler times of the year. A poolside Tiki Bar & Grill serves favorite tropical drinks, savory seafood snacks and sandwiches while a simmering hot tub nearby provides bubbling relaxation. This lovely oasis extends along the shimmering shore with over 420 linear feet of private beach. The setting provides panoramic views of the emerald hued sun splattered gulf that spreads out like a watery jewel towards the southern horizon. Numerous water sports are offered for excitement which includes activities like parasailing, jet skiing and kayaking. There are courts for basketball and shuffle board, a putting green as well as a fitness center on site- so there's lots to do.

Edgewater's Miramar Beach location is half way between Destin and Scenic Highway 30A in South Walton, which providing the best entertainment options around. This wonderful locale places you minutes away from popular beachfront restaurants, area grocery stores, and shopping at Silver Sands Premium Outlets. The charming Village of Baytowne Wharf and upscale Grand Boulevard are nearby at Sandestin with a wide assortment of fine restaurants, lively bars, specialty shops, fun seasonal festivities and free concerts.

Tents and canopies are not allowed on the beach. Umbrellas can be rented through the onsite beach service.

Boats, golf carts, storage trailers, and recreational vehicles are not permitted.

Based on the daily temperature and at the HOA's discretion, the community pool is typically heated Christmas through February.
