This enchanting hospitable home is located near the old historic village center of Grayton Beach in South Walton. This charming, captivating spot provides an enchanting setting of golden years gone by. The popular Red Bar, which features live music along with great food, is in the village center. Nearby Chiringo features tapas while the newly opened AJ's Oyster Bar has a variety of delectable culinary treats and rollicking good times. Grayton Beach borders Western Lake, which is a precious natural treasure since coastal dune lakes of this kind are found hardly anywhere else in the world. Creek-like tributaries flow intermittently across dunes in both directions depending upon the tides. This creates a salted freshwater habitat that is home to an abundance of fish and wildlife. This lake borders the shimmering shores of Grayton Beach State Park, which was recently reported to be one of the most beautiful beaches in America by Forbes Magazine.

Grayt Lake, formerly known as Grayton Conch, is a lakefront four-story vacation home with five bedrooms that can sleep fourteen happy beachgoers. Each bedroom is a suite unto itself since they all include private full luxury baths. An additional half bath serves as a convenient powder room.  There are two upper levels of columned covered verandas, both front and back, with an open observation sun deck on the top floor.

The gracious main open living area is on the second floor and has a casual beach-inspired décor with comfortable furnishings. Two white couches with and a richly carved cushioned accent chair face a wall-mounted flatscreen TV above a credenza. The dining area nearby has a round white table with a regal pedestal base beneath a double basket woven chandelier and six tall solid backed hardwood chairs with cushioned seats near a wall with a large festive palm print. The open kitchen has a white quartz-topped island beneath suspended twin coach lanterns and five beachy bamboo square-topped stools. The kitchen features top of the line appliances with a Subzero refrigerator freezer with doors that blend in perfectly with the light dove gray-colored custom cabinetry.

The Master Bedroom on the second floor has a stylish vintage modern look with a straw bench seat for beach nuance, a king-sized bed, and a French door leading out to the veranda for beautiful lake views. The en suite bath has double vanities, a deep soaking tub, and a glass-walled shower. Three Guest Bedrooms are one level up, and one has a king-sized bed with direct access to the breezy veranda. Another has a handsome king-sized bed beneath a colorful watercolor and faces a honey-toned hardwood dresser. The other Guest Bedroom on this floor has warm, charming cottage styling with two sunny windows, a queen-sized bed, and a unique bent cane armchair. The top floor includes the kid's quarters with white double twin bunks.

A landing with a Wet Bar connects to a comfortable lake view den with a classic couch beneath a tropically inspired wall hanging, two sleek wood-framed armchairs, and a large wall-mounted flatscreen TV. A glass door leads out to the rooftop sundeck with lounge chairs for relaxation as you enjoy the views of the serene forested lake setting.

This home is located in a brand new upscale residential enclave called "Grayton Landing" with a heavenly waterfront location on Western Lake. The beach is only a short five-minute stroll away, but you can have fun taking a paddleboard across the lake in even less time. Grayton Landing has docks for fishing with boat launches, and the Ocean Reef Reward program provides guests with special rental rates on watercraft if you need one. Other wonderful amenities include a lakeside swimming pool!
