Grayton Sea Glass

Grayton Sea Glass is a hospitable vacation home that exudes charm in a quiet, enchanting neighborhood near the historic village center of Grayton Beach and an exotic coastal dune lake. The lovely home was built with a customized architectural design, then pleasantly furnished and professionally decorated. This friendly property comfortably sleeps up to 10 happy beach-going guests with a king-sized bed in three of the bedrooms, and a great Bunk Room for kids with a pair of twin bunks.

You feel happily at home as soon as you arrive since a columned front porch includes rocking chairs that look out onto the landscaped neighborhood beyond. The exteriors have a nautical appearance with light blue walls accented with creamy white trim. Once inside you are impressed by the spacious rustic elegant ambiance that seamlessly blends a casually comfortable look with urbane sophistication. This entire home has a wonderful tropical flair with lots of beach flourishes including vibrantly colored art, whimsical fish sculptures, and other colorful embellishments. Light honey-toned hardwood flooring flows throughout while tall towering ceilings accentuate spaciousness. The open living area has a pastel blue contemporary wraparound couch and two latte toned accent chairs. They face a large unique triangular niche that houses a big TV underneath a staircase. A dramatic ceiling above the stairs soars all the way to the top of the second story providing natural light. The other side of the open room was designed to look like an eat-in country kitchen since half of it is a dining area with eight white colonial styled chairs beside a knotted hardwood table. The open kitchen portion of this space has upscale state of the art gleaming stainless steel appliances that include a gas burner range top oven. White contemporarily styled cabinetry has shimmering steel drawer handles and pewter cabinet knobs. Malt colored granite countertops and a multi-toned backsplash provide a rich accent. Three glowing globe sconce lights are suspended above the granite-topped island with a sink and bar stools.

A screened porch with comfortable seating off the living area overlooks a 22' x 12' private pool that can be heated in the cooler months. There's a convenient pool side bath along with an outside shower to wash off sand from the beach. There are two beautifully appointed Master Bedroom Suites with king sized beds and en-suite baths with one on the first floor and the other above.  The other Guest Bedrooms upstairs share a full hall bath. One of them has fun colorful attire and a king-sized bed. The other is a crisp, clean, contemporary Bunk Room with two twin bunks. TVs are located in every bedroom for individual viewing pleasure.

This South Walton vacation home is within walking or biking distance (about 400 yards away)to the old village center of Grayton Beach and the sugary shore. The old village center features a unique fun gallery and two restaurants. Chiringos offers Spanish style food, drinks, and tapas. The famous Red Bar where celebrities are sometimes spotted provides excellent dining, favorite beverages with live music. Picturesque coastal villages along Scenic 30A are only minutes offering a wide assortment of other restaurants, friendly beach bars, specialty shops, free musical concerts and seasonal festivals.
