Gulfstrand Up

This vacation residence is part of a duplex that has one "up" and one "down." Each unit has three bedrooms and accommodates nine guests making it possible to have a big beach reunion all in separate quarters. Located in the original center of Grayton Beach, this locale is close to the beach, the jeweled waters of the gulf and plenty of delightful diversions in the village.  

Steps away, the sugary shoreline and jeweled luminescent waters of the gulf adjoin Grayton Beach State Park. Forbes Magazine recently named as one of the most beautiful American beaches. Western Lake borders the village and is a true treasure. This coastal dune lake is one of a precious few as they are found in only a handful of places on the planet. They have an exotic water composition created when dunes periodically open and close a freshwater estuary connection to salt water through tidal action. These lovely lakes provide a natural habitat that supports a huge abundance of wildlife including fish, fowl and native planting.  Here you can catch some fish or go on a paddleboard adventure to explore nature's splendor. Another pleasure is steps away right across the street. You have access to a  30' x 24 community pool.  The palm-studded setting has plenty of lounge chairs for you to relax in while sunning poolside.

Gulfstrand Up has recently had fresh paint throughout, remodeled bathrooms and a full kitchen renovation with custom cabinetry, granite countertops, and stainless steel appliances.  It also has new bedroom flooring, comfortable bedding, new living room furniture and TV's in the living area and master bedroom. A staircase leads to the second story covered balcony with views of the gorgeous gulf and the sparkling pool.  The open living area has a dove gray couch that can convert to a queen-sized sleeper bed with a memory foam mattress and matching love seat. They face a wall-mounted TV for entertainment. A white picnic table across the room has six cottage styled criss-cross backed chairs for fun casual dining. Three vintage modern plastic gray stools face a malt mottled granite-topped bar next to the open kitchen that features stainless steel appliances.

Two Guest Bedrooms with a shared hall bath have direct access to a covered balcony with gorgeous views of the beach, the coastal dune lake estuary, and glistening gulf. One room has a twin and full sized bed while the other has a queen. The bright Master Bedroom has a queen sized bed and en-suite bath.

The wonderful Grayton Beach village center is a short stroll away and features a unique decorative arts shop and two restaurants. The Zoo Gallery sells vibrant decorative pieces from select American artisans. Chiringo serves Spanish style tapas and drinks. The famous Red Bar where celebrities are sometimes seen provides great dining and favorite drinks with live music. Picturesque coastal villages along South Walton's Scenic 30A places you minutes away from a wide array of other restaurants, friendly beach bars, specialty shops, concerts and seasonal festivals.

The community pool is typically heated during fall, holiday weeks, and spring break, but is based on the daily temperature and HOA discretion.
