Henderson Hideaway

This hospitable three-story vacation residence has a fantastic locale on the corner of Scenic Highway 98 and Matthew Boulevard in the heart of everything Destin has to offer. This spacious Crystal Beach home was designed for entertaining large numbers of guests with seven bedrooms, separate living areas, and great amenities that accommodate up to seventeen happy beachgoers. It is a short stroll away from the Henderson Beach State Park with 200 acres of rolling dunes and a long white ribbon of crystalline shoreline beside the jewel-toned gulf. It spans westward and features spectacular sunsets over the seascape. The home's upper levels feature comfortably furnished verandas that provide a place to experience these views while enjoying favorite adult beverages and snacks. It also features its own private swimming pool, so you have a choice of freshwater fun or a saltwater splash. The angled pool has a nice patio for lounging overlooking the neighboring tropical landscape. A large covered porch patio with a table that seats eight and a gas grill is available for a fun poolside cookout and dining.

The first floor of Henderson Hideaway includes three beautifully furnished Guest Bedrooms, two of which include a set of sliding glass doors that lead out to a covered patio. One lovely bedroom has a queen-sized bed, while the other features two twin beds and one twin trundle. The additional Guest Bedroom hosts a full/twin bunk and twin trundle bed. This room also has access to a Jack & Jill bath with a tub shower combo connected to the queen bedroom. An additional hall bath serves as a powder room for convenient use when enjoying the outdoor pool.

The second floor has an open Great Room that features a bright setting thanks to a double and triple panel set of glass doors on two walls that lead out to the furnished veranda, which provides views of the glittering gulf. Cream-colored tile flooring throughout accentuates the spaciousness. The appointments blend chic, fashionable Vintage Modern furnishings with a comfortable cottage style. A tan-colored sectional is flanked by a dove grey armchair and a large wall-mounted flatscreen TV highlighting fun beach-inspired décor. A dark hardwood table with six elegant chairs sits beside a curved mottled granite-topped bar with six raised wooden stools. The kitchen has brushed stainless steel appliances, a side-by-side refrigerator-freezer, an ice maker, and a black oven/microwave unit. On this level, a pretty Guest Bedroom includes a king-sized bed and its own romantic balcony, along with direct access to a full bath featuring a walk-in shower and soaking tub. A convenient powder room is also located in the hallway.

An open staircase leads upstairs to a nice bonus room with a Wet Bar off two Master Bedrooms that each have direct veranda access to enjoy the gulf views. Both the spacious primary Master Bedroom and other Master Suite include king-sized beds, palatial multi-trayed ceilings, and luxurious baths with separate granite-topped vanities, deep soaking tubs, and individual showers. A Kid's Room with twin bunks is connected to the Master Suite through the beautiful ensuite bathroom.

This privileged Destin locale is close to grocery stores, wine outlets, and the popular Destin Commons shopping complex. This captivating European-styled retail village features pedestrian avenues lined with Royal Palms along with outdoor music systems providing an idyllic shopping experience. The avenues pass by fine clothiers, fashion boutiques, shoe shops, jewelers, lots of restaurants, and a state-of-the-art AMC Multiplex Theater.
