I would absolutely return to Hideout. We loved it. The kitchen, bath and living room was decorated so beautifully. It felt like a calm, serene spa. I felt so peaceful there. We wanted for nothing and really enjoyed the golf cart.

House was awesome!

We stayed at the Hideout unit. It was great! Easy checkin, easy entry to the property, no keys to worry about. House was awesome! Super roomy, cute, perfect number of beds, 2 bathroom. It was close to the beach and the golf cart was a huge plus for this location! It made it sooo easy to haul our beach stuff to the beach and have lunch back at the house. Washer and dryer was a plus. Great place to stay, quiet street. Highly recommend Ocean Reef!

Great location - Nice Home!

Overall, had a wonderful stay at this home. First, the home was clean, spacious and as advertised. Second, the check-in and check-out process was very smooth. Most importantly, the location was perfect, just a three block walk to private beach. The golf cart was PERFECT to bring all the beach supplies and toys and avoid the walk (which wasn't bad anyway!). I would definitely stay here again.

Relaxing

We enjoyed our visit here. The house is very clean, and roomy. Having a golf cart was a huge plus. The walk to the beach with all your gear is doable but the cart was just the icing on the cake. All the movies that are there was nice if you have little ones. The games and puzzles for a rainy day would be nice. If you want a home away from home with all the comforts The Hideout has them for you.

We are traveling without a car. Is there a grocery store that the golf cart can get us to safely?

There are nearby grocery stores in each direction, however, the golf cart is intended to remain on neighborhood roadways only. If you will be in Destin without a car, click here for guidance on how to get around town!

How many seats/people does the golf cart hold?

Beach chairs and umbrellas are not provided complimentary, but are most certainly available for rent. Once you have secured your reservation, we will provide you with the beach services contact information. You can reserve chairs and umbrellas over the phone, or directly on the sand. See you soon!

Can you take your own canopy and chairs to the beach?

Personal chairs, umbrellas, tents, and canopies are permitted on the beach. Please note that tents and canopies can be at most 10x10 in size and must be set up behind all beach chairs and umbrellas.

Great news! Hideout is a pet-friendly vacation home. Up to two dogs (40 pounds or less) are allowed at designated pet-friendly properties with an additional fee per pet.
