Karen's Beach House

Karen’s Beach House is a stately Destin vacation home located in the exclusively gated Caribe residential enclave with four bedrooms and accommodations for eight excited guests. It is located in a lavish world of its own that borders the crystalline beach but is also in the heart of everything Miramar Beach has to offer. The lush, tropically landscaped grounds include tree-lined streets, a classic fountain, and a lake festooned by a geyser that is uplighted at night for a magical effect. This Mediterranean-styled house overlooks a lovely lake and is just a short stroll away from the private neighborhood beach access. A gracious front porch and upper-level balcony with comfortable seating invite you to relish the sensational sparkling views while enjoying your favorite drinks. The lake also has a charming gazebo at the end of a dock for fishing. Besides the beautiful white sand beach, guests can enjoy a neighborhood tennis court and two separate community swimming pools. Each pool includes restroom facilities, dressing rooms, and showers for added convenience.

As soon as you enter this regal residence, you are impressed with the spacious open setting, comfortable furnishings, and beautiful appointments. Light travertine marble flooring, a white paneled wall of custom built-in cabinetry with shelving, high ceilings, and paneled windows provide a luxurious look. A white safari cloth drapes over a couch and two armchairs providing a comfortable ensemble near a large flatscreen TV encased in the built-in entertainment cabinet. The open upscale kitchen nearby has a curved bar with raised leather director chairs for wining and dining. The white custom cabinetry and brushed stainless steel appliances provide everything needed for fun culinary creations. A tropically inspired dining area includes a glass-topped table with six straw-woven white cushioned chairs.

The lower level of this premier vacation home includes two master bedrooms with a king and queen-sized bed and luxury ensuite baths. One of the beds is handsomely styled with a black decorative metal frame and four tall, richly carved bedposts. The other also includes four bedposts with curtain ties and palm tree frond tops. This bedroom resembles an intimate, charming boutique-styled abode with a café table for two beside a kitchenette. 

The second floor includes a spacious guest bedroom with a queen-sized bed and access to a private balcony with lovely lake views. It also features a luxury ensuite bath. Another guest bedroom has a cheerful, sunny look with two windows, two twin beds, and access to a full hall bath. A cozy den on this level is shared by both guest quarters. It features a burgundy-colored couch, a love seat, and a large ebony-toned entertainment cabinet. A third-floor loft provides a private sitting area with a wet bar and an open observation deck for relishing in the beach breeze.

This Miramar Beach locale is only minutes away from grocery stores, gulf front restaurants, friendly beach bars, and bargain shopping for world-class designer goods at the famous Silver Sands Premium Outlets. The stylish town center of Grand Boulevard is nearby in Sandestin with great restaurants, fine clothiers, fashion boutiques, a Publix grocery store, and a state-of-the-art movie theater with a VIP dining room. Also in Sandestin is the captivating Village of Baytowne Wharf, which was inspired by the enchanting architecture found in the New Orleans French Quarter. It hosts many restaurants, fun bars, live music, unique family attractions, festivals, outdoor concerts, and exciting seasonal firework celebrations.

Second Floor: Bonus Den with Queen Sleeper Sofa, Queen Bedroom with Shared Walk-In Shower and Balcony Access, Bedroom with Two Twin Beds and Tub/Shower Combo.

Third Floor: Loft with Wet Bar and Balcony Access.

*This home only allows for eight people of all ages to stay the night and only permits weekly reservations per community association regulations.

Tents and canopies are not allowed on the beach. Large umbrellas can be rented through the onsite beach service.
