Welcome to Mermaid’s Retreat (formerly 30A Frame) – a one-of-a-kind, southern-style chalet that perfectly blends vintage charm and modern comfort! Located in the Gulfview Heights community of Santa Rosa Beach, this pet-friendly three-bedroom vacation home sleeps up to ten fortunate guests. The sparkling white sands and emerald waters of the Gulf are just a short stroll away, making this the ideal spot for beach lovers. Whether you're sunbathing, swimming, or enjoying the sunset, the beach is your perfect playground.

For those who love exploring nature, nearby Draper Lake—a rare Coastal Dune Lake—offers a peaceful setting for paddleboarding, kayaking, and fishing. But it's the beach that steals the show, and complimentary bikes make getting there and around the area even easier.

The home's crisp white A-frame design welcomes you with an open wraparound balcony, complete with cushioned rocking chairs where you can sip your favorite tropical drinks and enjoy the coastal breeze. Down below, a wood bench swing hangs from a majestic Live Oak, offering a peaceful spot to unwind. Out back, a beautiful paver patio surrounds a large pool, and a special set of chairs sits right in the water, inviting you to soak up the sun in style.

Inside, the first floor offers a bunk room with two queen/twin bunks, sleeping six guests in total. This bright, inviting space opens directly onto the pool patio and includes a wall-mounted flat-screen TV. You'll also find a bathroom with a walk-in shower, conveniently located next to the laundry room, which doubles as a poolside powder room.

Take the spiral staircase up to the second-floor living area, where a vaulted ceiling and beach-washed hardwood tile flooring create a spacious, breezy vibe. The open living, dining, and kitchen area is perfect for family gatherings, with a rustic hardwood dining table seating eight, and a cozy living area with a creamy white sofa set around a large flat-screen TV. The kitchen features sleek stainless steel appliances, a granite pass-thru bar, and bright white cabinetry, inspiring you to cook up memorable family meals.

A second-floor guest bedroom includes a king-sized bed and charming cottage-style furnishings, with access to a beautiful hall bath with a walk-in shower. Another spiral staircase leads to the third-floor loft, featuring two twin beds and the primary bedroom. The primary retreat boasts a king-sized bed, an ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower, and access to a rooftop sundeck overlooking the pool.

This prime location offers easy access to not only the lively Gulf Place community—with its restaurants, bars, bakery, boutiques, and outdoor amphitheater hosting concerts and festivals—but also the nearby coastal village centers of Grayton Beach and Seaside. These charming, iconic spots feature local dining, unique shops, and a laid-back vibe that makes 30A so special. Plus, for even more adventure, Destin is just a short drive to the west, offering world-class dining, shopping, and entertainment options.
