Welcome to Once Upon A Tide, a grand four-story Old Florida-style vacation home that blends luxury, comfort, and coastal charm. Designed for unforgettable beach getaways, this stately retreat features six beautifully appointed bedrooms and accommodates up to 32 guests. Nestled along the prestigious palm-lined Scenic Gulf Drive in the sought-after Frangista Beach community, this home offers a private pool, access to the gated neighborhood beach, and a community pool—ensuring the perfect mix of relaxation and adventure.

This home is crafted for comfort, with three levels of furnished verandas and a fourth-floor observation tower, where you can sip cocktails while soaking in the sea breeze and views of the shimmering Gulf. Inside, five of the six bedrooms boast private ensuite baths, while the remaining two have easy access to full hall baths that also serve as powder rooms.

The first floor sets the stage for a fun-filled stay, featuring two king guest suites with private baths and a queen guest bedroom with access to a full hall bath. Based on the daily temperature and at the HOA's discretion, the community pool is typically heated during spring break.

Personal beach chairs and umbrellas are permitted; however, tents and canopies are prohibited per HOA regulations. Personal setups may not be placed seaward of the on-site beach service chairs. Chairs and umbrellas are available for rent through the on-site beach service.

Fantastic!

Once upon a tide is a great place to visit! The house is impeccably clean, beautiful and so convenient to everything. Walking distance to Pompano Joes and around the corner from Pascalis…. A hidden gem with delicious food and beignets! The house itself is great, beds are comfy and overall it’s one of the best places we have stayed. Kitchen is great, huge! May need to add a couple of oven sheet pans, but otherwise we had everything we needed. As great as the stay was, ocean reef was even better! Another rental company with stars in the name called the day we were leaving to come down and cancelled our reservation. They had listed a house that had not yet passed inspection and weren’t allowed to rent it. Not only that, they wouldn’t do anything to try to make it right. Ocean reef helped us find the house, and even texted us as they do all guests to let us know we could get in early. Every person at Ocean Reef we dealt with was amazing! Thank you for an amazing week! We will return, and will only rent through ocean reef from now on!

Fabulous house

We haven’t even checked out yet, and are already ready to book this house for next year! The house is gorgeous, I don’t even think the pictures do it justice. My entire party is in awe over how well it’s decorated for a rental house. There is plenty of room for everyone and the beds are super comfy. Also everyone we have interacted with from Ocean Reef has been more than welcoming and super nice! 10/10

Beautiful Home

We recently stayed in this property and the pictures are absolutely spot on. The house is well appointed and extremely inviting. Where is the beach access? How far away from the house?

Answer:

Once Upon A Tide has two beach access locations in Frangista Beach. The closest is across from Miami St, only a minute or two away on foot. The second is across from Hollywood St, about three to four minutes away. Each beach access is gated and exclusively for residents of Frangista Beach.

What utensils and appliances are stocked in the kitchen?

Our kitchens feature the basic necessities, such as a Keurig coffee maker, toaster, blender, silverware, dishes, pots, and pans. We furnish enough disposable goods to get you started; this includes trash bags, paper towels, toilet tissue, dishwashing detergent, and bar soap. You may also want to pack hair dryers, additional disposable goods, and specialty kitchen items such as spices, aluminum foil, sandwich bags, etc.

How many bicycles are included with this rental?

Check-in time begins at 4:00 pm CST. Early check-in is always a possibility - but never guaranteed. If your property has a guest departing in the morning an early check-in should not be anticipated, however we will monitor the status of your property and happily inform you if it is ready for check-in earlier than 4:00 pm. You will receive an automated text message to the primary number on file alerting you when the property is ready for check in.
