"Summer time and the living is easy", particularly if you're staying at Shell Shack! However this vacation rental is really not a shack. Instead it's a well-sited three story home with six bedrooms located in Destin's Miramar Beach. With its six bedrooms, this rental home has the ability to accommodate up to 20 guests and a small dog, making it an ideal choice to become your new favorite place for a fun relaxing family or friend retreat.

Shell Shack is just a short leisurely stroll away from the sugar white sand beach and emerald hued glistening waters of the gulf. The home is in almost a forest of palm trees which provides a tropical accent and gives it a classic Florida feel. You may take a refreshing plunge in the private 8'x17' swimming pool after a long day at the beach or the just sit beside it soaking up the sun on the new expanded pool deck.  Pull up a stool to the tiki bar and catch a game. A covered porch beside it on the ground floor and a balcony above look out over this scene in case you want to cool off with a cold drink and enjoy the breezy shade.

The first floor of Shell Shack has three of the six bedrooms all of which are individually decorated in a beautiful palette of tropical colors. The rest are upstairs on the second floor which provides separate evening living space for different families or age groups. The first floor has one bedroom with a comfortable king sized bed and private full bathroom en suite. The other bedroom has a nice queen sized bed and the third is a bunk room with two twin bunks for the kids. These two rooms share a full hall bathroom. A separate formal dining room on this level has a long rectangular dining table with eight seats. Five raised bar seats face the open kitchen that has plenty of creamy white cabinetry, stainless steel appliances and a side by side refrigerator. Here you may enjoy preparing a fun seafood feast for those nights when you are dining in.

The spacious main living area is on the second floor with access to the breezy balcony where you may hear the sound of the waves when the surf is high. This room has milky white tile flooring which is richly accented by fashionable furnishings. A wall of sunny windows completes the cheerful ambiance. Two more bedrooms on this floor also have private full bathrooms en suite. The other bedroom has access to a full hall bathroom that doubles as a convenient Powder Room. Modern amenities include wall mounted TVs with DVD players in all six bedrooms as well as the living room and den.

The third floor encompasses a lofted bonus room with a full sized bed and a queen sleeper sofa. It also has a flatscreen for evening entertainment, and a roof top balcony with a bird's eye neighborhood view.

In addition to being just a short distance from the beautiful white sand beach, this locale near Scenic Gulf Drive places you minutes away from popular beachside restaurants, championship golf or tennis, convenient grocery stores, discount shopping at Silver Sands which is the nation's largest Designer Outlet and family fun at the Village of Baytowne Wharf in Sandestin.
