Destin Pointe is a peaceful peninsula paradise, surrounded on three sides by water and bordered by over 3,000 feet of private, sugar-white shoreline. The community is home to two rare coastal dune lakes, where herons, egrets, pelicans, and ducks thrive among the dunes and sea oats. Families and nature lovers alike are drawn to this unique setting, which also features beautifully landscaped parks, walking and biking paths, a children's playground, private tennis courts, and now—a total of three sparkling swimming pools, two hot tubs, and a splash pad, including a stunning new elevated infinity pool and hot tub overlooking the Gulf. During summer and holiday weekends, fireworks from nearby Destin Harbor light up the sky and add to the magic of this coastal retreat.

From the moment you step inside, LoneStar Sandcastle defines casual coastal elegance. On the second floor, the main living area welcomes guests with high ceilings, rich mocha-toned hardwood floors, and triple sets of glass doors that lead to a breezy, columned balcony with comfortable outdoor seating. Nautical accents, tasteful seascapes, and upscale furnishings bring a sense of calm and style throughout. Two sofas and accent chairs surround a flat-screen TV, perfect for relaxing after sun-filled days.

The open-concept kitchen features white cabinetry, top-of-the-line stainless steel appliances, a large culinary island, and a custom wet bar complete with a wine rack and beverage fridge. A spacious dining table seats eight, while a nearby game table provides additional seating for six more, ideal for meals, puzzles, or card games.

Two guest bedrooms are located on this level, one with a king-size bed and balcony access, and the other designed with bunk beds for younger guests. Both rooms feature flat-screen TVs and share a full hall bathroom with a tub/shower combination.

Upstairs, the third floor hosts three more beautifully appointed bedrooms, including the luxurious primary suite. Each bedroom features a king-size bed, private en-suite bathroom, flat-screen TV, and individual balcony access. The primary suite boasts Gulf views and a spa-like bathroom with a soaking tub and walk-in shower. A full laundry room is also located on this floor for convenience.

Rental includes four chairs & two umbrellas seasonally. Events are strictly prohibited.

Based on the daily temperature and at the HOA's discretion, the Magnolia House community pool is seasonally heated.

Trailers, RVs, and pets are NOT permitted at this property. No weddings or events allowed.

THE BEST House and Location!

WOW! The house is beautiful and the owners thought of it all - the amenities, details, furnishings, organization, and layout of the house. We had a large family gathering (12) and had plenty of space and never felt crowded. The large balconies provided more space for kids to enjoy the outdoors or just to enjoy the surrounding beauty. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need for all meals - including 2 refrigerators! The location of the house was just a short walk to the beach or 3 pools and the provided cart made it so convenient to transport all of our gear. The beach and water are absolutely gorgeous, which we enjoyed with the included chair and umbrella set ups. Oh, and we loved riding around on the bikes that are a part of the rental! The house is located in the gated community of Destin Pointe and close to many wonderful restaurants and activities. We had the best family vacation and look forward to returning to LoneStar Sandcastle - it was the perfect place!

Loved everything about this property.

We have rented many properties on Holiday Isle over the years and this by far was the cleanest and most well stocked property ever! By a long shot! Having 4 chairs and 2 umbrellas was a nice extra, along with the 4 bicycles. Nice perks.This house will be on our short-list for future trips to Destin. Great location, very nice house, well stocked, and super clean! We can't say enough about how clean it was. Many of our past rentals we've had to request it be cleaned again. Not this one. Outstanding job on whoever cleaned this property before our arrival. Thank you.

Fantastic Gathering Place

The Lonestar Sandcastle was the perfect beach house for our group of four couples to gather. Each couple had their own bedroom and bathroom and each bedroom had a roomy closet with hangers and plenty of hooks to hang things on. The large kitchen was a chef's dream and well equipped. Two refrigerators and an additional ice maker in the bar made it easy to stock up on plenty of groceries and ice cold drinks. It's proximity to the beach made it easy come to the house for lunch and return to the beach for the afternoon. Thank you for a great stay while there and the memories we made with good friends.

Best Destin trip ever!

We are a large family from Texas that stayed here last summer. We have been going to Destin for years staying in separate condos at Magnolia House. This is our first time staying all together in a house on Destin Pointe. This was the perfect house for our families!! We loved all the thought that the owners have put in this rental, and it is a super bonus they are Texans too!! The house was immaculate and had everything we needed and then some! We especially loved the extra large fridge and the extra fridge in the kitchen. The massive kitchen and living space never made us feel cramped or on top of each other. We just booked our stay for summer 2024 here again and are so excited!

My family and I have gone to Lonestar Sandcastle for many years! It is a BEAUTIFUL home with everything you would need to enjoy your stay! It is close to a pool and the ocean! We wouldn't stay anywhere else!!

Perfect Place to Stay to Enjoy the Best of Destin!

We have been staying at Destin Pointe for decades and have stayed at numerous properties around this neighborhood. Once we discovered the LoneStar Sandcastle we never looked back. We now have stayed there every year over the past 5 years. This house is beautiful, well-maintained and in the perfect location to enjoy the best of Destin and its beaches while also avoided noise and traffic from Highway 98. The sandcastle theme is fun and gives this place a beach personality all its own. We never regret staying here and always look forward to the next time we can come back to the Lonestar Sandcastle!

Wonderful visit!

Very much enjoyed the Lone Star Sandcastle! I felt like the property was well maintained and clean. The kitchen had everything we needed. I had wished that the property came with a golf cart however as Destin Pointe will not allow you to bring them in. I think that would be a drawback next time. I also felt that some of the bedding and sofa/ chair fabrics seemed a bit tired. Other than that, we LOVED it!
