What to Pack
Are you ready for the beach?
Before you start packing for your trip, we want to share a few ideas of what to bring on your vacation. Let’s get packing!
At all of our Ocean Reef Resorts, guests receive starter supplies to get you up and running after traveling. These include a small amount of disposable goods, such as trash bags, trash bags, paper towels, dish soap, a sponge, toiletries, and soaps (body wash, shampoo, and conditioner). As for additional toiletries, the most basic supplies are provided. Depending on your group, however, you’ll likely need to pick up additional items.
For the kitchen, basic appliances are provided for cooking meals. Our properties are supplied with blenders. If you need something more advanced like an air fryer, espresso machine, or crockpot, you’ll need to bring your own. You should also bring items such as aluminum foil, sandwich bags, coffee, and spices. Don’t want to deal with grocery stores on those busy check-in Saturdays? You can get food delivery from Whole foods or Publix to most locations. Or order ahead with Sarah K's and have ready-to-heat meals already in your fridge when you arrive!
When it comes to relaxing on the beach, chairs and umbrellas are generally available to rent from beach vendors. These are not complementary unless specifically noted with the property. Other beach items to pack include towels, sunscreen, beach toys, coolers, wagons, etc.
Before you zip your suitcase, don’t forget to add items such as laundry detergent, a hair dryer, your favorite pillow, toys and games, and other items you’ll want with you while relaxing in paradise. If in doubt on what to bring, we’re here to help. Just reach out, and we’ll make sure you have everything you need for a great vacation.
Happy packing!
