It is possible to walk to the beach, but most visitors opt to utilize the beach tram. The bay is also very close and is an easy walk.

Bahia is located on the exclusively gated Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort. Guests may utilize the complimentary beach tram, which takes passengers to and from Sandestin's private stretch of beach. Once you arrive, beach chairs and umbrellas can be rented through the onsite beach service provider.

The Sandestin tram system will take you virtually anywhere on the resort, from the beach to the bay and everywhere in between: The Village of Baytowne Wharf, tennis courts, golf courses, Sandestin Spa and Fitness Center, and more. The tram runs on two continuous loops, departing each stop approximately every 30 minutes or less.
