Crystal Beach Cottages

The charming Destin neighborhood of Crystal Beach Cottages includes many Old Florida-style vacation homes. The majority feature a golden Americana-style with inviting front porches, white picket fences, upper-level balconies, and lush tropical landscaping studded with palm trees. Most of the homes here are single stories, but some have two and three levels. They primarily include two, three, and four bedrooms with warm coastal casual or cottage-style furnishings. These properties generally sleep between six to ten beach-going guests. Some include private swimming pools; however, all have access to a lovely community pool a short distance away. The sugar-white beach and glowing jewel-toned gulf are less than five minutes away on Scenic Highway 98.

The Destiny communities are located towards the east, and the expansive Henderson Beach State Park is towards the west. Also, Seascape Resort is a short drive away, where Ocean Reef Resorts guests can enjoy special reduced rates for championship golf and tennis.

The trendy picturesque pedestrian-friendly shopping village of Destin Commons is just a minute or two away from this delightful neighborhood. The Destin Commons is an amazing outdoor retail setting that provides an idyllic shopping experience. It features palm-lined avenues, an old-fashioned clock tower, a classic fountain, a plaza with spurting geysers for kids to frolic, and an AMC Multiplex Movie Theater. The Destin Commons also hosts fine clothiers, fashion boutiques, shoe shops, jewelers, specialty shops, restaurants, and friendly bars. It is anchored by a massive Bass Pro Shops, a Belk's Department Store, and an Uncle Buck's Fish Bowl and Grill.

A Publix Grocery Store, Whole Foods Market, wine outlets, specialty shops, and many great restaurants are also close by at three adjacent shopping centers. This centralized point is near the Midbay Bridge and Emerald Coast Parkway intersection. It is midway between all the action at HarborWalk Village on the bustling Destin Marina and outstanding amusements at the captivating Village of Baytowne Wharf in Sandestin of Miramar Beach.
