This raised coastal-inspired vacation home with three bedrooms is bright and spacious, offering the ability to sleep eight carefree guests. It has an outstanding location in the Gulfview Heights neighborhood tucked away on the beachside of Scenic 30A with a brand new heated private pool and updated interior! This rental property is only about a three-minute stroll away from the sugary shoreline. The neighborhood beach access includes a picnic pavilion and convenient bathroom facilities with showers for sandy feet. This beach is very special because it connects directly to Draper Lake. Coastal Dune Lakes of this kind are a rare natural treasure and found hardly anyplace else on our planet. A creek-like estuary crosses the dunes over to the gulf, creating a magical mixture of artisan-fed spring and salted waters through ongoing tide changes. This mixture creates a habitat for an abundant amount of wildlife and a wide variety of fish. Besides enjoying the beautiful beach, many guests kayak or paddleboard on the lovely lake to fish and explore its natural beauty. Here, one can spot Great Blue Herons, Snowy White Egrets, Osprey Falcons, and the occasional American Bald Eagle.

Dune Betty is quite inviting with a raised balcony walkway extends around the front and two sides leading back to a large sun deck. It has a private setting overlooking the trees, an umbrella table with seating, lounge chairs, and a grill for fun outdoor entertainment. The expansive open living area filled with natural light looks out upon this deck with walls of windows and a glass door that leads outside. This living area also features a soaring vaulted ceiling and light honey-toned hardwood flooring throughout that accentuates the spacious look. Creamy white furnishings include a couch, love seat, a hardwood-topped table, and two cozy accent chairs. A flat-screen TV on the other side of the room sits on a chic beach-washed credenza for evening entertainment. A charming dining area near the extended wall of windows off the kitchen includes a maple wood country table flanked by six festive cherry-red hardwood chairs with white cushioned seats. The ample kitchen includes stainless steel appliances, white custom cabinetry, quartz countertops, and a white subway tile backsplash.

The serene colored Primary Bedroom includes a queen-sized bed and private ensuite bath with a glass-walled walk-in shower. As for the Guest Bedrooms, one includes twin bunks while the other features two twin beds. One is completed in lovely light green toned interiors, while the other is done in a soothing pale blue. They have access to a full hall bath with a separate vanity area and a tub-shower combination.

When you are not relaxing at the beach or splashing around in the private pool, this Santa Rosa Beach locale is near popular restaurants, friendly beach bars, and delightful amusements. Many of them are very close by at the coastal village center of Gulf Place. It features restaurants with casual bars, caterers, coffee shops, fashion boutiques, specialty shops, and galleries. A grassy palm-lined amphitheater in its center provides a perfect place to enjoy live outdoor musical concerts, various art shows, and fun festivals held throughout the year. It is also just minutes away from other enchanting coastal villages along this scenic route like iconic Seaside, including dining establishments, bars, shopping adventures, amphitheater concerts, and fun festivals.

Great location
Great location close to the beach. Our young children enjoyed the house and pool. We loved the porch for coffee and breakfast. Try the Perfect Pig (20 minute walk) for a great lunch or amazing donuts.

Great Trip

Quiet Seaside Stay

The house was absolutely gorgeous and we were provided with various amenities that were extremely useful.
Having the towels, dishsoap, and clothes washing pods allowed for us to keep the house clean and not worry about going and buying these items during our vacation. The Guest Portal was also extremely easy to use, I had acess to everything that I needed during my stay and didn't feel like I had to disturb the owner with questions.

Beach chairs and umbrellas are not provided complimentary, but are most certainly available for rent. Once you have secured your reservation, we will provide you with the beach services contact information. You can reserve chairs and umbrellas over the phone, or directly on the sand. See you soon!

We love our dogs here at Ocean Reef, however - Dune Betty is not a pet-friendly property.  If you are unable to board your pup, you may want to consider one of these Pet Friendly Rentals.

How big is the pool?

Where is the beach access located in regard to the house?

Dune Betty is a short 3-4 minute walk from the Gulfview Heights Regional Beach Access located at the end of Gulfview Heights Street. This beach access includes parking, restrooms, showers, picnic tables, and lifeguards during peak season. You can also walk to Goatfeather's restaurant for a mid-day snack :)
