Description

Emerald Waters 404 is an attractive two bedroom top floor Destin vacation rental located in an exclusive low occupancy condominium. The name of this complex describes the "emerald waters" of the glistening gulf, which are very close by. In fact you may view them first hand from the breezy balcony of this charming vacation rental since it has vista views from it's premium locale. Besides the glorious gulf in the near distance you may look down upon the watery oasis below that's lushly landscaped with palm trees, magnolias and other tropical plants. It is centered on a refreshing lagoon shaped sparkling swimming pool surrounded by a stone paver patio for sunning. There is also a bubbling hot tub for soothing relaxation and some outdoor grills.

As soon as you enter the main open living area you are greeted by the gulf views since they are framed by a set of sliding glass doors. A plush couch and love seat face this scenery along with a flatscreen TV. The square dining table nearby has a chic beach-washed look with four matching chairs. Two additional raised stools face the open kitchen that has a granite bar where appetizers and cocktails may be easily served.

The Primary Bedroom is tastefully decorated in soft natural earth tones with a wooden sleigh king size bed that faces a wall mounted TV. It also has a full private bath en suite and three windows that allow you to view glimpses of the gulf even from the comfort of your own bed. The Guest Bedroom has an ornate metal-framed queen size bed and access to another full bathroom off the hallway.

Besides being close to the beautiful beach this fantastic location is halfway between two popular gulf front restaurants, Pompano Joe's and The Whale's Tail. They are each a short distance away and you can even enjoy taking a leisurely stroll right down the beach to either one of them. Championship golf and tennis is available nearby at Seascape. World class discount shopping is minutes away by car at Silver Sands which is the nation's largest designer outlet as well as upscale retail shops on Grand Boulevard. Another close destination for family fun is in nearby Sandestin at the Village of Baytowne Wharf, which offers an abundance of restaurants, lively bars, specialty boutiques, free musical concerts, fun family amusements and seasonal festivities with fireworks.

Absolutely Perfect in Every Way

I booked this condo without knowing much about the area since it was my first time visiting, and I relied solely on the description. I’m so glad I did because it truly exceeded my expectations! The location is amazing — the neighborhood is very walkable and full of life, with people out jogging, walking, and enjoying the outdoors at all times of the day, which made it feel both safe and welcoming. The highlight, of course, is the beach. It’s just across the street, only about a five-minute walk, and the private entrance made it feel extra special and convenient. Having such easy access to the beach added so much to the experience, whether it was going for a morning walk or catching the sunset in the evening. Overall, this stay went above and beyond what I imagined. Between the lively atmosphere, the unbeatable location, and the ease of getting around, I can definitely say I’d love to come back again in the future.

Quick and Affordable

Too good to be true

This stay was amazing, I stayed for about a week , check in was efficient, they even extended the courtesy of allowing me to check in early , “ but because the cleaning staff finished cleaning early “ which is why that was available, which made it so nice for me …. Everything was clean and as stated in the description… I made a maintenance call about the windows not locking and they came in a hurry to take care of the issue with ease and did not interrupt my stay at all , what a great place , and by this review, I know the owner knows I’ll be contacting again for another stay, thank you so much for actually having a clean property, so many other properties fall short of this !!!!

Would definitely stay here again!

We were in town in March for a wedding and the location was perfect for our needs. Very clean property, beds were comfortable, plenty of pillows. Communication was fantastic. We would definitely recommend and would stay here again. The complex is small, so more intimate and it is a quieter complex, which was fine for us. The pool was heated, which was a nice feature for our 8yr old.

We had a great time

The beach was a convenient close walk, this part of the beach had a shallow sand bar close to shore and made it especially fun for my three year old. You do have to cross a two lane road that was pretty busy, but drivers were always polite and let us cross. The condo is laid out very nice, with a stocked kitchen with plenty of plates and silverware to just fill the dishwasher during our stay, not having to wash dishes several times. Everything to do with the reservation making to check out was extremely easy and clear; with update texts along the way that kept things clear and simple. The pool was clean with pool floats to enjoy. The washer and dryer were extremely convenient. This was a fun and comfortable stay that I would do again at this location. My Air Force soldier got a weekend pass and thoroughly enjoyed his little break in this relaxing nice condo!

We love our dogs here at Ocean Reef, however - Emerald Waters is a non-pet-friendly complex for HOA regulations. If you are unable to board your pup, you may want to consider one of these Pet Friendly Rentals.

Are sheets/bedding provided?
