This hospitable vacation home is the ideal beach getaway for family and friends. It has been recently renovated with comfortable furnishings and creature comforts that amply accommodate up to 12 happy beachgoers.  This lovely rental home is located in the forested residential enclave of Gulf Trace. It borders Grayton Beach State Park and an exotic coastal dune lake with an estuary that connects to the gulf. Such bodies of water are found hardly anywhere else on the entire planet and are a true natural treasure. Tidal action creates a magical composition of salty freshwater that supports a vast abundance of wildlife. Besides enjoying the glittering gulf, you may try your luck fishing or kayaking out upon the lake. This park was recently named one of the most beautiful beaches in America by Forbes Magazine!

Another delightful option you have here is to take a pool plunge out back since Lone Star has one for refreshing entertainment that measures 28' x 14'. Surrounding this lovely lagoon shaped pool are tables, chairs, and a grill - so you may enjoy a cookout for poolside dining along with drinks. A covered kid's play area nearby has lots of beach toys, a wagon, a swing and some fun kiddie furniture. Adults may enjoy the rocking chairs, a porch swing and all the comfortable space made for leisurely lounging around while the children play.

The raised second story level at Lone Star includes the Primary Suite, two Guest Bedrooms, and a kid's Bunk Room - all of which have their own TV.  The Primary Bedroom has a full en-suite bath, a king-sized bed with an ebony ladder back headboard, matching bed stands and an armoire that houses a large TV. This room shares a porch with an adjoining Guest Bedroom with a queen sized bed and cottage styled white furnishings. The porch has rocking chairs, a swinging bed, and a table for morning coffee or evening wine. The other Guest Bedroom also has a coastal-styled décor with a queen-sized bed and an attached bath with a walk-in shower. The colorful Bunk Room nearby has a whimsical look with a full-size bunk bed and a full ensuite bath with a walk-in shower.

The open living area on the top floor has a distinct Floridian style. Colorful artwork, unique hand painted cabinetry, and vibrant decorative arts provide vivid beach flair. A cream colored couch that converts to a queen sized sleeper sofa, and a loveseat along with two elegant floral patterned accent chairs assemble around a TV for entertainment. The rich hardwood dining room table has eight matching handsome chairs with dark leather seats near the open kitchen. The kitchen features white cabinetry with sleek white quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances, and a bar with stylish straw topped seats for entertaining. The living area opens to a patio with a table that seats six for dining on one end and dark wicker furniture with cushioned seats for favorite drinks with appetizers at the other. This opens out onto a breezy balcony that has glistening gulf views.  

This fantastic South Walton location is close to many restaurants, bars, boutiques, seasonal festivals, and concerts at picturesque coastal villages like Grayton Beach proper and Seaside and others all along Scenic 30A.
