This classic vacation home has a fashionable Mid Century Modern design replete with multiple living spaces.  A family room with a dining area next to an open kitchen is on one side of the home with a wonderful Great Room on the other side. It also has a split bedroom plan with a Master Suite off the Great Room and two Guest Bedrooms on the other side off of the family room.

Salty Dawg is located near the village center of Grayton Beach and a short distance away from the beautiful white sand shore. This gracious rental home sits on a large wooded lot nestled by magnolias and soaring live oak trees that wind their way up to the sky. An open deck wraps around the side of the house and over to the front entry where you may enjoy the woodsy views and have a cookout with the grill. Towards the right of the entry foyer is the Great Room with a white beamed vaulted ceiling and an entire end wall of windows that go to the top of a towering truss. A royal blue armchair accents two plush salmon colored couches and a matching love seat with an ottoman. They face the wall of windows that are centered with a tall hardwood armoire that houses a TV for entertainment. The roomy Master Bedroom off this room also has a vaulted ceiling, a king-sized bed, a sitting area with a plush armchair, a wicker frame cushioned couch and a private bath with a walk-in tiled shower.

The other side of the house has a warm cabin-like Family Room with molasses toned walls and a matching ceiling that are highlighted by light hardwood flooring. A country dining table has eight high backed woven chairs for a tropical look. The open cottage styled kitchen has white cabinetry, a glass topped range oven and a counter with four raised bent cane bar chairs. The living area has a cream-colored couch, a cane armchair and two bucket chairs with colorful zigzag patterns. Down the hall past a full shared bath are two charming cottage styled Guest Bedrooms with molasses toned walls and white wood ceilings. One of these rooms has two twin sized bed while the other has a queen sized bed with a decorative metal frame.

Grayton Beach State Park borders the nearby village center and was recently named one of America's most beautiful shores by Forbes Magazine. Besides the crystalline beach, a rare exotic coastal dune lake here has a magical composition of salted fresh water that supports a huge abundance of wildlife. The historic village center has a unique decorative arts gallery, the famous Red Bar that features great food, drinks and live music along with Chiringo for Spanish style tapas. Many restaurants, beach bars, specialty shops, free concerts and seasonal festivals are just minutes away along Scenic 30A and throughout South Walton.
