This 30A locale is just a short stroll away from the shimmering sugar-white shoreline, which was awarded Blue Wave Beach status - the nation's highest acclaim of excellence for natural beauty and pristine conditions. It also boasts having the highest elevation on the entire Gulf of Mexico. Seemingly endless views from the top of the sugary dunes across the dazzling jewel-toned waters toward the southern horizon provide a precious glimpse of heaven. Besides luxuriating in the glowing Gulf and soaking up the golden sun on the bright beach, you are just steps away from taking a refreshing dip in a lovely lagoon-shaped swimming pool out back. It features a tiled patio and a sundeck overlooking a lush lawn. A gas grill and umbrella table invite you to enjoy poolside drinks and dining.

The beautiful exterior of Sandy by the Sea with Old Florida architectural design is perfectly complemented by comfortable state of the art interior amenities. An old fashioned wraparound columned veranda overlooks the front yard bordered by a white picket fence - while a screened porch and an open balcony above invite you to relax while enjoying the balmy Gulf breeze. The "here and now" interiors are loaded with creature comforts and are fashionably up to date. An open living area is handsomely furnished with three couches that face a flatscreen TV on a charming creamy white chest. Decorative art, colorful bottles, floral prints, and sea life accouterments provide wonderful beach flourish throughout. A regal dining table with eight chairs sits beneath a vintage chandelier in a bay window nook near the Gourmet Kitchen. This state of the art kitchen features thick marzipan colored granite-topped counters. As well as two elegant raised chairs at a pass-thru bar, lots of white custom cabinetry, and brushed stainless steel appliances to fulfill all your culinary desires.

The first floor includes the convenience of a full hall bath and two comfortably furnished cottage styled Guest Bedrooms, one of which has a sunny window looking out upon the pool.  The Master Bedroom upstairs is a world unto itself spanning the entire second floor with a king-sized bed, a full en suite luxury bath, and its own screened-in porch with an adjoining open balcony. This romantic private space allows you to relax, reminisce about your fun day, and plan adventures for the rest of your stay. Your kids can go upstairs, where they will love the special third-floor hideaway that contains two full-sized beds.

Blue Mountain Beach is home to South Walton's first health food store, a local bakery, and an old fashioned creamery which are within easy walking distance. It is minutes away from a wide assortment of great restaurants, casual beach bars, specialty shops, and galleries. Concerts and seasonal festivals are hosted nearby at Santa Rosa Beach's Gulf Place as well as iconic Seaside.
