Palazzo is the Italian word for a palace or splendid residence which is an apt description for this new high rise condominium tower that sits right on the Gulf of Mexico in Panama City Beach. Ocean Reef is pleased to be able to offer a three bedroom, three bath private vacation rental in this beautiful building. The Palazzo is at a great beachfront location only a mile away from the popular Pier Park and other shopping, dining or entertainment venues. The building has sweeping views all the way to the southern horizon across the emerald hued waters. Sunsets are spectacular here from late Fall until early Spring since the golden orb sets right into the ocean towards the west. During the Spring and Summer you can be fortunate enough to see a full moon rise out of the gulf waters to the east. The serene, silver splattered water creates a romantic effect that you will always remember. Gulf front, covered parking allows for a convenient arrival. Once there you may enjoy sunning on the sugar white private beach or swimming among the dolphins who often parade near the outer sand bars looking for fish. A wrap around, fresh water swimming pool sits five stories up with a spacious, open sun deck which looks down on the beach below. There is also a Hot Tub for bubbly, warm relaxation. Palazzo also has a state of the art Fitness Center with a number of weight machines and cardiovascular equipment. Floor to ceiling windows allow you to view the gorgeous gulf while you are doing your work out.

There are a number of amusement parks nearby, the largest of which is called Ship Wreck Island, a twenty acre adventure world devoted to pirates. Coconut Creek is another popular destination with waterfalls and streams that meander around the expansive mini golf course. Gulf World has fun dolphin and sea lion shows while over 200 exotic animals can be seen at Zoo World. As an Ocean Reef guest you can receive a complimentary round of golf for each night of your stay with us at the Hombre Club in Panama City. This championship Golf Course was rated the best in Bay County and is used as a qualifying school in the Fall for the PGA tour. The Hombre fairways are nicknamed "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly" as a reference to the level of difficulty in playing this challenging course which has twenty-seven holes. The meticulously maintained greens are nestled among marshy wetlands, lagoons and forested areas. The aforementioned Pier Park is a pedestrian friendly shopper's paradise that is anchored by a mall near Highway 98 to the north and the giant city pier that juts out into the gulf on the southern side. It is interconnected by a boulevard which is flanked by restaurants, bars and a number of shops or boutiques. In fact Pier Park contains over one million square feet of retail space, enough to satisfy even the most ardent "Power Shopper." Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville Restaurant is a popular place near the gulf pier where you can sip on your favorite frozen beverage, listen to some live music and eat some delicious seafood.

Palazzo 602 is sleek, modern and tastefully furnished with colorful tropical decor. The three bedroom condo can sleep up to eight guests since it also has a sleeper sofa in the main living area. Ceilings are nine and ten feet high which contributes to a spacious look. The floor plan contains a big room that has floor to ceiling sliding glass doors that offer sparkling views of the water. Part of the room has a square glass topped dining table with six straw backed chairs next to a beautiful open modern kitchen, richly accented with cherry wood cabinetry. This is flanked by a long, mottled granite counter with three bar chairs for chatter and cocktails or to serve as the "kiddies table" during meals. The far end of the room closest to the balcony has a comfortable couch and two comfortable cream colored armchairs that face a flat screen TV. In addition, all three bedrooms also have flat screen TVs of their own. The Master Bedroom Suite has a king sized bed with a sharp burnt orange palm print spread. The room is elegantly decorated with dark ebony wood cabinets and has direct access to the beachfront balcony. The private bath has both a Garden Tub and a separate shower in case you both have to get ready at the same time for that early dinner reservation. One of the Guest Suites has a queen sized bed with an old fashioned, ornate metal head board and is colorfully furnished in a nostalgic, "down home" kind of way. The other Guest Suite has twin beds and is a favorite for the kids since it has fanciful parrot decor. While in the condo, you will find yourself spending a lot of time with your friends and family on the expansive balcony. It connects from the Master Suite to the main living area and has a table with chairs for dining or beverages. The watery views here are awesome and you can hear the soothing sound of the waves below when the surf is high. It is also a perfect place to be during a spectacular sunset or on one of those magical moonlit nights.
