Barefootin is located in Old Florida Beach, a private beachfront community south of Scenic 30A and conveniently close to Gulf Place, the unofficial town center of Santa Rosa Beach. This gracious 4,000 square foot vacation home (no shoes required) has five bedrooms and the ability to sleep 14 fortunate guests. All five of these beautifully decorated bedrooms serves as an individual suite since each comes with a private bathroom. This hospitable home's prominent position above the sugary beach overlooks the jeweled waters of the glittering gulf and an estuary that connects it to Draper Lake. Coastal dune lakes such as this are rare and found in very few places in the world. The estuary connection flows in both directions depending upon the tide levels and creates a unique partially salted freshwater lake. These precious lakes support a vast abundance of natural wildlife due to the magical mixture of the water's composition. Since you are just steps away from this beachside lake and the community beach boardwalk, you may want to try your luck fishing or take a paddleboard or kayak out upon the lovely serene waters. The Old Florida Beach community pool is also nearby.

Barefootin's columned porch spans across the back of the home from the open living area as well as a matching covered beach balcony above that provides panoramic views of nature's splendor. The living area has a 30-foot wide length of floor to ceiling windows overlooking the spectacular seascape with glass doors out to the dune top porch. Colorful Adirondack chairs and stools invite you to enjoy the views while listening to the soothing surf sounds. Abundant amenities include a Media Room with comfortable seating as well as the luxuriously appointed central living area with entertainment equipment that includes large HDTVs with a BluRay player and HD box. This home's upscale décor includes comfortable furnishings, granite, marble and stained glass accents providing a warm, rich ambiance. The living, dining and kitchen areas share gorgeous gulf views with a seating ensemble at one end and a dining table beside the wall of windows at the other with seating for ten. An intimate table for three sits bedside the windows in between. The state of the art kitchen has a gorgeous granite-topped bar with five raised chairs and matching wrap around counters. Top of the line stainless steel appliances inspire the creation of culinary delights.

One of the Guest Suites is on the main level has a cheerful attire and a queen-sized bed. There are two gulf front Master Bedroom Suites upstairs with king sized beds, walls of windows for vivid views, doors leading out to the top level observation porch balcony. Each one is beautifully decorated in its own style with luxurious private marble tiled baths that feature double vanities and soaking tubs. Two other Guest Suites on this level include a kids Bunk Room with two sets of full/twin bunks and a lovely cottage styled bedroom with a queen-sized bed.

This seemingly remote piece of paradise in Old Florida Beach is near favorite restaurants, friendly bars, specialty shops and seasonal festivals throughout South Walton along Scenic 30A.

Based on the daily temperature and at the HOA's discretion, the community pool is typically heated during the fall and holiday weeks.

The use of golf carts are prohibited in the Old Florida Beach community.
